Locksley is announcing at The Opening as well iirc. Basically, we need to just hope that he doesn't commit to Maryland because Locksley to FSU or AU just about guarantees us that we will land one of Gibson or Francois imo.

Now, we are in a position to be able to wait until signing day on Gibson. If he chooses us, then we take him. If he doesn't, then we use that spot for a different position… Preferably OL or DL.

Butch is taking them all. Jennings, Dormady, Gibson, Locksley, Francois, Waller, Barnett, Jones is going to flip from UF, and Cornwell is going to transfer from Bama. CBJ even has secured a wavier to allow Austin Kendall to join UT's team in late July.

I like Francois better than Gibson, but Gibson is more flexible. Could be a heck of a WR if things didn't work out at QB.

I would take either in a hot second, if we're going to take a third QB.

Maybe they prefer Gibson based on the POSSIBILITY of him moving to WR. Francois is a QB all the way.

I wouldn't expect that being the 3rd QB commit at UT would be more appealing than being the 2nd at Free Shoes U. Here's to hoping, though!

True but the rumors circling around is that Locksley is #1 on FSU's board and they're waiting on him. Maybe even slow playing Francois which is dumb on their part imo. That may be why Francois just scheduled those 3 visits.

I really like Francois as well and we should be extremely excited if we land him or Gibson. I am happy with either guy.
