He may not like the idea of counting on twitter fans for his chauffeur service in the future.

It was reported he would be headed home today by some means so maybe we get a little better idea what's up with him after he leaves town.

If Gibson was just a WR we wouldn't even be having a discussion on whether we can afford to take him or not, we would be talking about opposing DBs and peanuts. The fact that the kid wants a shot at QB doesn't effect his athletic talent. You give him his shot at QB, if he makes it great that means he beat out everyone else.

I don't know what is more laughable the stranded farce or the idea that we would pass on his athletic talent.

My statement was from parent's point of view and when I made it the view that was being painted by media and this board about his situation was that he issues getting back home. If he actually chose to stay then great.

It is possible they did what they needed to do. I mentioned yesterday there is an Allegiant flight leaving Knoxville around 4ish today headed to Ft Lauderdale. I don't think the flight is daily. Maybe today was the 1st chance they could fly him out at a reasonable rate. I know if my options are a flight 2 days from now or riding a greyhound bus 1000 miles, I might keep myself busy for a couple days.

I was mainly frustrated in my post that the whole stranded-rumor has even gone on as long as it has.

If he were wanting a road trip home, I'm sure someone would help him out if not his parents, friends, UT fans, I'm sure the "great" Auburn fans would lend him a hand.

Let's just give Torrance his own forum. We can have Torrance rumors,Torrance Tweets ,Torrance Gibson for Wr discussion And hell y we are at it a not really about Torrance off topic thread. It would clear up this mess.

If TG doesn't sign with us, he may look back at his tweets thinking what an awesome job he did trolling us. But in reality he'd be going to another school while giving us a lot of air time instead of the school he's going to.
