There is NOTHING better than a QB who knows they want to be a part of the class, no matter the offers or whoever is recruiting them. You guys got a good one that a lot of people are going to want to sign come February. Gibson is going to be good, and I honestly hope he does come to Auburn, but now you have a guy who loves UT, is obviously wanted by a lot of the current players based on tweets, and can be the leader of the recruiting class. Nice pull guys and girls. Congrats

Cant wait till we get TG to.

Sell him on playing WR, but let him have a chance at QB first.

If he redshirts and doesnt develop at QB, let him be a 5 star receiver.

Nice post most rival posters would say haha we got the young cam Newton and u got a two star. Then they Would tell us who else there team is going after

The uf game this past year has to take the cake as the worst qb play I've ever seen by a UT player.. I like peterman though and hate that his first start had to be in the swamp, so it's hard to blame him too much.

The two star crap is old.. He's obviously not a 2 star unless u are too dumb or lazy to understand his situation.

Butch taking him while we are in on a few elite qb prospects makes me feel better than any stars by his name would. I like the bama offer and love the ok state offer.

I was concerned about his arm strength from his film, but then someone pointed out he was just 15.

Agree. I wonder how that game would have gone if Worley had played the whole game.

Rivals will probably bump to a 5.6 3* before the season, which is generous considering he hasn't played in a year.

Some feel sorry for TG? Lol. The guy is an elite prospect on a free trip with lots of college coeds. I think he will likely be just fine.

I think it's unlikely that we land him but we should still be in the mix for him. Most of the other colleges already have better situations at QB and higher rated recruits at QB in this class.

I don't think TG will be turned off by competition. Anywhere he goes there will be more good QBs on the roster. If they aren't now on elite school rosters they will be the next year. If he expects to play in the NFL he will always have competition. If he goes elsewhere it won't be because CBJ signed Dormady.

Man, the TG die-hards are out in full force.

My opinion even though I know it's not allowed here:

Gibson has said for a long time that he wanted to take all of his official visits and commit after his senior season. That's all fine and good as long as you know the consequences. In today's recruiting game, QBs simply can't do that anymore. Heck, even most of the "elite" players can't. Dormady knew he wanted to play for UT and is super excited about it. I would take that 99% of the time over another kid that wants to live out his Twitter fame for 7 more months. I don't deny that Gibson has elite talent, but if he really wanted to be here then he just shot himself in the foot by being so noncommittal.

Part of what makes a great leader is having someone that is fired up about being where they are. Dormady brings that to the table.

If Gibson commits closer to NSD, we have as good a shot as any at him still. He is going to face competition anywhere he goes. He still has an excellent shot at being a QB at UT. We made him a priority but we couldn't wait on a commitment till NSD especially when Dormady is an EE as well.

IMO, 1% chance.

I think the kid drops Tennessee to about 6th on his list if not off it shortly after he gets home. There is just no way I see the coaches trying to take 3 QBs in 2015. Also if they did, do Jennings/Dormady stick? They got 2 quality kids in 2015. Start the focus today on 2016 QBs and move on.

good post! I tired of all of guys just trying to see how many twatter followers they can get and releasing the top 30 schools when they really know were they want to go. Just friggin commit and become a team player.
