They are tied on arm strength. The accuracy number is higher for QD but the scouts all say TG has nice touch. Who knows who ranked them that way? It may be one persons opinion. I do know that is been said pretty unanimous that even if he couldn't run he would be a 4 star qb even only playing the position one year. I know QD was hurt but the consensus on him isn't the same. Happy we picked him up though. If we still get TG we have three to battle it out. If not we have two good ones already committed.

Why can't they still take Gibson?

Jennings seems committed to being a Vol no matter what he plays.

Let them all start at QB and move one or both of Gibson/Jennings if they don't win the job.

McKenzie is already recruiting other players. I think those guys are just bummed they couldn't bring TG into the fold. On to the next guy for them...

They can and will if he comes. The posters who don't like Gibson's game are acting like its all over. Gibson has to know waiting late every team will have a qb committed most likely. I don't think it matters to him or he wouldn't be waiting so late. Doramady is an insurance policy.

Oh I definitely think he'll be the key guy, I just thought Gibson would definitely help with some of the longer shots.

All that said I'm excited about dormady.

So me and some friends went to Moe's to grab a bite, lo and behold Bates, Jashon, Pig, Hendrix, Dredrick Snelson, and TG are sitting outside eating. Naturally me and my friends grab food and sat outside in the vicinity and I caught some conversation. Bates mainly just talked about his recruiting experience and TG didn't really talk at all. He looked deep in thought.

I wish I could make this up guys, I'm still kind of stunned by the encounter.

If Gibson decides he wants to commit, we aren't gonna turn him away. Butch and co. will keep recruiting him. As will McKenzie and any of those other guys we might pull from the text group.

I think after all that, HG may end up being right. TG may end up at tOSU, because he waited so long everyone else is out. Who does tOSU have for QB, in this cycle. Francois to FSU, Waller to Alabama or ND, Nunez to USCe. Who does that leave? TG, that's who.

OSU has Burrows. He is a 4* QB who put up some crazy numbers last year. They may be looking to take 2 QBs though. I would now expect to see TG at least visit there.
