Riley Ferguson appears to be gone

Well, hopefully we get a decent recruit this year. I really wanted to see Riley play after all the talk about his ability. Let's hope that Peterson doesn't transfer either, because that would leave us too thin.

After butchering his name like that he may.

He's not a duel threat qb anyway. Best of luck rf. I was thinking he might become the next rod Wilkes he's so Damn popular on here. We'll just have to keep looking

I hope Rod does not find out what you just posted, no wait Rod already knows what everyone posts.

When Riley was at his best, he was head and shoulders above the rest. I think he will be a great QB.

With our turnover on OL, especially OT, I wanted all 5 QBs ready to go. And at the very least, RF was 1-3 in depth chart depending on what week it was.

I hope he stays but if he goes, then that makes UT look much better to a 2015 recruit who's initials are Torrance Gibson, etc. It would also give more practice time to Worley & Dobbs...etc.

I also hope that Dobbs can play consistently like he did in O&W an UK games.

Sorry but there is absolutely zero evidence that Ferguson was head and shoulders above the rest. If that were the case he would have won the starting job already.

C'mon BOT, by virtue of the Volnation We Know What's Best Clause Subsection 5, Appendix 19, he never had to prove himself to be head and shoulders above the rest. It was supposed to be a given.

Oh well, best of luck to RF. He's not the first player we've lost, nor will he be the last. TN will be fine.

Doesn't TK2 have QB experience?

AJ?...lol

1. You know him personally?
2. That's a ridiculous statement.

I don't have to "know someone personally" to evaluate their football talent and KNOW I could beat them out.

Your statement is ridiculous. I can sit here and know both sides of the equation; I know how I throw, and I know how they throw. Then, I can make a qualitative decision.

On the other hand, you only know half of what I do. You know how our QBs throw. You don't know how I throw. So, I ask you: whose statement is ridiculous now?

No. It has to do with the fact he knew he was going into fall camp as 3rd string.

Worley and Dobbs just got back from training with Whitfield, both are bigger, and Dobbs is a freaking rocket scientist. He wasn't ever going to play regardless of what people on this sight thought... We were wrong.

Well this will give Dobbs and Worley more reps with the WRs. It's a two man race now. The question is who will step up and take charge both guys have been putting in the extra effort just have to put it all together.

Also wouldn't be surprised to see Fergy at East Carolina or NC State in the fall. Since he wants to be closer to home.
