So I haven't read the last 200 pages of this thread, someone catch me up.

We lead according to his top 15 list. Everyone outside of Volnation thinks he is trolling and ends up at tOSU.

1/3 of us think he is a great QB and we want. 1/3 don't think he is worth the hype. 1/3 think he is a great athlete, get him on campus and put him somewhere. The rest is discussion about other quarterbacks, other hits, other misses.

He is not committing until late in the year after he takes his officials.

Qbs today can't wait for national signing day a lot if the time or it's basically written in stone where they are going. Wrong domino and they could lose first choice

Butch will still recruit TG, but he will get another QB soon IMO.. We can't wait on him

This going to happen with his other top schools as well and I think TG will be forced to commit sooner than he wants to. I don't think these school can afford to miss out on other top talent.

It seems like he's trying to replicate the drama of Terrelle Pryor...who waited until AFTER signing day...only a few short years ago...that also gives tOSU a boost though I don't see Urban waiting like Tressell did...the recruiting game has changed for QBs...he's risking a spot at one of his top choices...for a Lebron type announcement. :glare:

I would be shocked if he was able to wait that long. It's a risk for these schools to wait that long for a QB commitment and take a chance on missing out on other top QB talent. QBs also help with recruiting classes as well.

Didn't proofread thread.... Has it been mentioned here that he isn't practicing this Spring and its believed to be because he is transferring to a different HS? Accdg to 247, Coach Z was unsuccessful in visiting with him the past two weeks to see him throw for this reason

I wonder if he had a fall out with Coach Rumph by not going to Miami. This all seemed to play out at same time as Lawson committed to Miami

If that were the case, you would think the coach needs to be fired. Suggesting an athlete consider a school is one thing. Commit to them or else is something very different.

Can we pause the Vick debate and discuss the possible transfer because that's a major thing that could really hinder or help his development as a qb... Can we get someone with a florida connection to confirm or deny this?

I remember Munchie Legaux being on our radar a few years back...then we and others backed off. He ended up at Cincinnati, and even though he wasn't playing at a high level in college, in Butch's system, he was still able to guide them to wins.

Even came within a frog hair's distance of beating Teddy Bridgewater's unbeaten 2012 Cardinal's. Same Cardinals that upset Florida in the Sugar Bowl that year.

The thing is, he got better each year, under Butch and OC Bajakian. So, I'm confident a QB like Jennings and/or Gibson can win under the same staff. Especially when surrounded with so many offensive weapons.

Even though the Stuck-eyes and War-kittens have had more overall success last year, no other QB in the SEC will be surrounded with more talent at the skill position, than right here in Knoxville.

:good!:

With UT's WR corp it is hard to fathom why a QB hasn't committed thus far. I can understand Gentry going to the other UT, but the talent at WR on rocky top is undeniable.

Closer to home, relationships he had with staff because that staff was first to offer at Louisville. Why he went to Texas
