BOOM! It's official. Willie Carmichael will be a Vol!

His HS coach just texted me the news, which is hardly a surprise, but it's out in the open now! :dance2:

Carmichael has a high motor and loves to play defense. He admits he's a little raw offensively, but he's got a nice shot from the outside. He's been more of an inside player because of his height. However, he's got to put on some bulk to be able to bang inside in the SEC. I think Willie will be a solid addition to our lineup. I will get to see him early in his UT career as the Vols will play in the Old Spice Classic at Disney over Thanksgiving weekend, which is about 30 minutes or so from me.

I think Carmichael was being classy and fair to all parties. making sure noone involved was surprised and caught off guard. All coaches and family members were told first imo.
