Guards everywhere

I feel like if we had CDT when we hire CCM the first time we could have not only landed Hubbs last year but, also JW3 and Jajuan Johnson. For his system they would have been nasty. Just wrap your mind around that for a while.

I Live in the West Tennessee area and have seen Hubbs play often. Reminds me of a baby Wade. He is so unselfish for a major prospect its very rare. CDT will push him to be more aggressive. Unlimited potential in my opinion. When healthy all I can say is look out.

With all the guards being recruited is Tyndall planning on playing small and fast or do you see him picking up a couple of big men to play the inside?

If he knows anything about basketball, he'll get some guys taller than 6'3. But, then again we don't know what we're getting here. I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of trouble makers on the team going forward. Something that we didn't have with the last guy and something we had with Brucie wucie.

You probably are unlikely to see the traditional 6-10 to 7-0, 270-280 lb center in this system. All five guys have to be able to run the floor. Only the most athletic 6-10, 270 guys can do that, and you'd be fighting every NCAA team in America to land those guys.

Then we don't want him. Because I'm all about the 6-10 to 7-0, 270-280 lb guys in BB.

Whatever that means. I'm all about the big boy's in BB.

It means some guys don't fit certain playing styles. Peyton Manning doesn't fit a spread option style of offense, and 7-0, 280 lb center doesn't usually fit a system that wants to press on every made basket and run up and down the floor.

It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

I feel really bad for you today.

You just keep digging it deeper with your lack of knowledge. Want to know which team won the RTL "pickup" league last year? You know, the run and gun league? Didn't think so! Heck, I'll tell you anyway!
Pilot Rocky Top Basketball League

Listen bro, Pops Ndiaye and Rob Murphy averaged near the same Ppg as Lopez, so please STFU about the RTL.

At this point you have to be f*****g with us all, because I truly don't think anyone can be this stupid. I am beyond ready for you to move on from this new obsession you have and go back to a Ricky Byrd, or 1-3-1 rampage.

Let me just expose who is the stupid one. First off, Brandon didn't get playing time because your hero, Cuonzo, was the coach. Sort of like the 1-3-1. No team could score on it easily but he didn't use it. Held Florida scoreless from nine minutes to two minutes in their last game and went back to man-to-layup and lost. So here is what you are saying. Tennessee does not need a point guard who would distribute the ball instead of shoot, shot 62% from the field, shot 81% from the ftl, averaged 14 because he dished to Chisum for 30, led his team to a championship in the Rocky Top League which all of last years players played in, has no problems with grades, no problems with character, etc. If anybody can run a run and gun offense, this guy can. He is the perfect point guard and is smart like Dobbs. What do you think Coach T is holding open a scholarship for, Christmas?

He does seem to have a bias towards Lopez...
See how little you really know and then call someone stupid, senile ole fart, Betty White clone, when they are so much smarter than you. Galen is a shooting guard. I think the real thing is with your 40000 posts you just love to hog the forum claiming to know it all. I have about 40 years experience on you and have dealt with all kinds of young men who had to be shown they didn't know it all.

Look B.Lopez can play in a game and give you some backup minutes at PG.He has actually made some key shots and had some big assists in some big games. He might fit better in a CDT system than the sorry ass system we have been running for 3 years. It is a big help to have Lopez back. But he is only a backup and probably should give you no more than 6-9 mins a game if that.
