And this is exactly what I'm talking about. One might give all the credit to the PG for the pass on this oop, but McKnight created the entire play with his screen. In fact, he sets two screens in just seconds. He is totally creating offense.

I'm calling BS. Offensive boards, pick and roll, and screens. Every big does these things, but the athletic ones are the ones who do it the best. Guys like Tyson Chandler, D Jordan, J Noah, etc. have no post moves but they are among the best centers because they are athletic and can cover so much more ground, which gives you strategic advantages running high pick and rolls. Those guys can get to the hole.

He struggles on the offensive glass.

He doesn't create offense in the sense that you post him up and he makes a move/finds a cutter.

Like I said, his offense consists of lobs and the occasional put back. Without a distributing PG, he has the potential to struggle.

If we don't have a distributing PG, then that's the much bigger problem.

I get what you're saying. I just think there a multitude of ways a guy can be a big contributor on offense. If he was a back to the basket, monopolize the ball type, he likely wouldn't be athletic enough to do the things he does so well.

Big guys run more than anybody on the floor (they go baseline to baseline). The game is changing. It seems like Tim Duncan was the last guy with real size and skilled post play in college. At least nobody else comes to mind.

That will be his game. He is great at running the floor and will be a big upgrade in the athleticism department.

He does fit what CDT appears to be looking for.

big fella can set a pick for jrich, punter or mootzarella and cause the defender to make a choice when he rolls. Spot up Hubbs on the wing or corner and uh oh.

I want to roll the dice on Pollard. Bring him, Owens, and Chiles and holy $hit we are back.

I really wish we would, I think we could land him if we pursued him too. I'm not the coach though, and it's very possible Hart or more likely Cheek put the kabosh to that.

He has interest in any D1 school, he just wants a shot, someone will give it to him I just hate it probably won't be us.

If teams are passing for his involvement in the kidnapping incident, their will be a lot of schools kicking themselves. imo

Cause this kids got upside, and from the articles I've read about his involvement, he didn't have anything to do with the kidnapping. He just picked up his cousin and took her to the hotel his mom was staying, with the kid.

Heres one I quick searched.

Eric is a good kid, but he does love to live in the clouds :cool2: His 12 game suspension really hurt the FGCU team gel the way they needed to this past year. There's a reason he's not finishing his career here, but I do think he can be a good addition to the Vol team if CDT can keep his head straight for a year.

He's only here for a year, right? If he only ties up the scholly for a year, then it's well worth the baggage he brings with him. Hopefully he can stay off the weed long enough to make it through the season, then he can toke up to his heart's content. Hell, I'll buy him a bag of his favorite flavored Doritos if he just stays clean til after the season.

Just for fun I'll throw this little nugget out there: His coach at FGCU is named "Dooley."

You'll fit in well here, Eric. We're all running from Dooleys in our own way.

Just looking at his numbers, I like his fg%, defensive rebounding%, and his block%, but the TOs are a glaring weakness.
