2014 Georgia Forward Phil Cofer

He never used his OV to visit us

What I meant by that was that he was already committed to us and is taking a visit here. If he came back I'd be hoping he'd give his all, but we've all seen what happens when players aren't putting their hearts into it.

I'm having sleepless nights trying to decide where to send my daughter to high school.....couldn't imagine having decide which college to attend when u can go pretty much any where.

Exactly! That's a big decision about hs as well! Good luck with that decision!

If he comes now it will be because he's Orange and not Martini.
Wouldn't worry about his HEART.

Randy Moore saying 70 percent chance he chooses Tennessee. I just hopes he gets through that Florida State visit without committing. I don't see Virginia Tech as a challenge to us Florida State seems to be our competition.

Cofer has a huge heart he will play for us with 100 percent effort. You have to know the entire history of this recruitment to understand why he wanted a release. I think he is getting stronger to Tennessee everyday.

You're probably right, and I haven't followed him all the way through. I'm sure he'll turn out OK and do what he's here to do (if he signs).

And more.
He got the HEART from both blood lines.
Great family.

With the loss of AJ, I believe that leaves us open to take more.

PF- Reese
C- Pops, McGhee, Ellis, Cofer, Owens, and Carmichael.

I'm just going off what VQ is saying, what I've been told, and the obvious signs. Carmichael has gotten his release, if he was a take ATM why have we heard nothing?

If Ellis is here I'll be shocked, and if Cofer is here I don't think Carmichael is.

Jmo

With the loss of AJ, I believe that leaves us open to take more posts. It'd be hard to justify taking 3 PF's that are all freshmen. Ideally, one will have to RS. Could see us going grad or JUCO.

PF- Reese, McGhee, (Cofer/Carmichael)
C- Pops, Owens (Ellis/McKnight)

Right I think Carmichael is being slow played for Cofer

And frankly that's a good sign if you ask me, the fact the staff feels they can slow play a top 200 forward with some nice offers means they feel very good about where they stand with some talented guys.

I agree. And probably based on talent, CDT would prefer to have all three, but you don't ever really want three guys in the same class who all play the same position. McGhee, Cofer, and Carmichael would be nice to have, but you have to spread the wealth a little more. Owens is a little bit different, especially if he is pushing 6-10 or 6-11 now.

Agree 100%

If they can somehow get Ellis qualified that would be nearly as big as Mostella imo

Yep. A true paint presence at 6-10 with experience. And he's a JUCO which spreads out the scholarships.

Exactly. McKnight would be option 2, but a serious drop off from Ellis to McKnight IMO. I think Ellis would be great in this system, he's also physically ready and as you mentioned spreads the scholarships.
