There's more to come

Can't wait to see what Moore looks like and tbh, I think he's one kid that is ok with the change. Kid shouldve played more. Period. A lot more.

I made this comment preseason of last year based on what I heard and saw in practice. Kid got the shaft bigtime, especially early in the year.

Let's see. At the moment we've lost 4 signees, and the 7' 1' kid that committed. Add in Thompson and Johnson. So there are 7 bodies lost assuming Hubbs stays. CDT has already signed 3 players of need in his first 2 weeks on the job. If Thompson comes back that's 4. If we get Cofer back, that's 5 with 3 spaces left assuming Chievous doesn't stay, 2 if he does. We're lined up for several good JC's and/or transfers. So Donnie Knoxvile may just get us back to 13 scholarship players in only a month or so. That guy and his assistants are flat out makin' things happen and gettin' things done.

I can't see Chievous staying with all of the guards coming in and returning.

Is this about where we are at Status wise. % were guesses for the most part based on Board posts and information available. Not sure if I got all this correct.

Cheivous Team - Released 20%

Punter Signed 100%
McGhee Signed 100%
Mostella Signed 90%

Cofer Reconsidering OV Pending 75%

Now for the rest of the story. There wasn't one player who got more minutes than Moore who you could possibly say didn't deserve to. Go to rivals and look at BB stats, down at the bottom they show min for all players. Fits like a glove.Moore is the 6th man basically and that's what he is. There was a lot of min spread between Barton and Thompson for obvious reasons.

Suarez, Cofer, Owens with Ellis possible in the summer.

Edit - if Ndiaye is released, then Carmichael is in

Fwiw Dortch was also very high on Martin

I don't know about "very high on Martin"... I think he thought he would bring a toughness to the team, and that bringing in a guy from a mid major isn't a bad thing as some UT fans seem to think..Billy D,John Calipari,Mark Fox,Kevin Stallings,Bruce pearl, all came from there...

he is very high on CDT...

I dont care what the end of the year stats said. Go back and watch the games and decide if he should have gotten more minutes. The stat sheet doesnt tell you everything.

That's why we pay coaches, to make tough decisions regarding players and retention. It's tough when a coach is Brutally honest sometimes, so it there is no pressure for him to look he stays. Wondering at this point what is going through Carmichael's head.

The recruiting is great, no doubt ....I just don't understand how all these players fit together at the 2 and 3...

SG. Richardson/ punter/ mosela
SF. Moore / Hubbs

I just don't see how you can keep them all happy unless you move 1 of them to point guard or to PF..... Or Punter is 3rd string? Not sure but all of a sudden were stacked at the 2 and 3 position.... 4 is not bad either with the new guy and Reese.....

We need 2 big guys and. 2 PGs....
If he lands all of that then well be ready to compete right away....

ok, well, wake me up once he's replaced the two top 150's we had coming in and the 7'1 dude that would be very intriguing. So far I see roster filling. And btw, since when is Hubbs a 'SF'? Really? Seriously? And that name Mosela up there. Neither committed or on the roster. Counting chickens?

Maybe in beginning but he bashed his coaching on 104.5 in Nashville during slump. He said Cuonzo was terrible at X and Os and you could predict what he was doing

Correct, but in the beginning he was signing his praises just like he is Tyndall, maybe not quite to the same level, but he was apparently wrong on that one. He also was very complimentary of Missouri hiring their coach and has been vocal about him as well as Tyndall.

that's all I was saying.
