I see a "failure to maintain lane" stop in his future.

You draw attention to yourself, you best be prepared to take what comes along with it.

So Cops Lie and will seek vengeance on people that use free speech? got it

You should be familiar with the concept of drawing attention to yourself whenever you post anything.

Probably should stop now. It's not going to get any better for you.

If I get one saying "luvcops" am I safe?

Only if you wear a wig and shave your legs.

The overall point being that if one thinks they can decorate their car with a tasteless license plate or any number of idiotic bumper stickers out there they should know it will bring unwanted attention.

You're a cop hater, just like the OP. I understand that. But I'm reasonably sure you aren't going to go rolling down the road flipping off every cop you see or put a bumper sticker on that says "Cops Suck!" If you did, do you not believe it would bring attention on their part? And furthermore, do you think you would get any breaks for even a minor traffic infraction?

So whomever decided that license plate was a good idea needs to accept the fact they will probably be targeted for any traffic violation no matter how minor.

Much the same as those "I support..." bumper stickers sold on behalf of the police benevolent organizations by third party telemarketers.

I appreciate the effort, but I'm more than capable of speaking for myself.

Not dude's fault at all. He turned in his request for "POPSICLE" and the DMV totally jacked him.

It's not a matter of hatred. From what I've seen, a large number of leo's have no qualms in making the "facts" fit their needs.

Sounds like politicians as well...

And lawyers...

So do you disagree that this person is probably drawing unnecessary attention to himself?

Absolutely. And I'd bet every detail of any action with him will be well documented. I would also think that his expression of free speech will subject him to more scrutiny. I doubt any cop pulling him over will be thinking what a great American he is for fighting for that right.

Btw, it's not like I was searching for negative cop articles and a reason to "diss" them. Saw the story in the Tampa Bay Times and was surprised it wasn't yet posted. My initial thought was more about the irony of it being in NH and it's "Live free or die" motto.

Along with his snazzy new vanity plate, "Human" should get himself some "free Mumia" and "Free Leonard Peltier" bumper stickers.

Maybe even a Bill Ayers bobble-head doll for the dashboard.

As I said, you draw attention to yourself, be prepared for the consequences. And that's whether it happens to be a "Cops suck" license plate or an "Romney/Ryan" sticker on a car that gets vandalized.

Hence why my vehicle is clean of all stickers and vanity plates.

I'm not a cop hater I'm just adverse to authority and those that abuse it.

I would say any cop pulling him over better be on his Ps&Qs, you know he'll be wired for sound. And video.
