TOS posters saying defection rumors legit

I'm not saying you don't have solid info. I'm saying when I hear stuff like that it sounds like it's kids talking. "If you leave, I'm leaving." Stuff like that. It's lip service. When the rubber meets the road, it's not an easy decision to make and I don't think all 3 will transfer.

Here's my guess. Just my guess. AJ Davis wants to transfer out (which Basilio is saying he's heard was happening regardless of who our coach is next season) and that's where this talk about the others is stemming from.

And like I said, Hubbs is least likely to transfer. Why would he go sit out a year when he's probably thinking he's possibly just a year or two away from the NBA? Transferring isn't going to do anything to make that happen quicker.

I agree Davis is most likely then Thompson and Hubbs least likely.

As for Hubbs, maybe Calipari is in his year, has a better track record of putting guys in the league than Tyndall, no?

They will get releases if they want them Tyndall will let them leave just like he did the recruits. They want be playing in the SEC. AJ probably ends up at Georgia Tech. Thompson who knows where he is going may not even be leaving.

Just because they get releases doesn't mean they won't have to sit out a year unless they were to get some kind of hardship waiver (which I doubt).

It's sad how so many posters are actively taking any piece of information they can find and turn it against Martin. I don't cheer for him anymore either, but making him a scapegoat for everything just makes us look that much more ignorant and delusional as a fanbase.

Dooley much? (and yes, Dooley was a horrible coach. But when you start hearing people place him on the grassy knoll, you know it's gone too far).

I think Tyndall would be willing to release them to any school except SEC schools. They want be playing in the SEC so Vandy board shouldn't be getting excited unless they want to pay their own way.

SEC rule. Can't go to SEC school.
Learnt that yesterdie.

There is not enough drama evidently.... So the best way to start it is to speculate.

Dooley was fired because he sucked. Martin made it to the sweet 16 and went to another school on his own accord. Not even comparable situations.

Stopped reading after "I don't cheer for him anymore."

How many has Tyndall put in the league as a HC?

Not sure how either can be compared to Cal, no?

Kenneth Faried would be one, no?

My point was just that he obviously didn't sign with Martin for that reason.

If these kids are going to transfer they'll either go juco or sit a year and pay their own way. I just don't see Robert Hubbs doing those things. He's too good of a player to do sit or go juco. I seriously doubt Thompson will either.

Davis makes the most sense. I would think they have the money to afford to pay his way at another school. Out of state tuition can be ridiculously expensive.

Surprisingly, I haven't seen you make any stupid comments about it.

You and everyone else are going to have to give up the Martin lover angle. I know it absolutely angered you that I supported Martin through thick and thin, but he's gone. I'm over it, all of Martin's most adamant supporters are over it, the only people bringing him up are those who unfairly blame him for everything (most things of which are out of his control).

Let's just cool it. People like you are so stuck on the fact that I was willing to support our coach that you are making yourself unwilling to try to understand anything I say.

So you're saying Tyndall won't release those guys if they don't wanna be here?

Oh ****, you were agreeing with me, weren't you? Lol.

Yep. We're already starting to hear about how Cuonzo's players were soft, didn't like to work hard, couldn't cut in in S&C. While he was the coach, that was one of the last criticisms you would've heard anyone say. Nic Christopher should've been the 2nd highest paid coach on that staff behind Zo based on the kind of shape we were in. Now with Tyndall, we're hearing about how we're going to be tough and some players might not like it. Put two and two together (all based on rumors of defection) and now suddenly Cuonzo let his players slide in practice.

This one is picking up momentum. Perception will become reality.

Jesus Christ, I didn't hear about that specifically until just now, but that's just ridiculous and exactly what I'm talking about.
