Pretty much. I really wish I had some of your guys mentality. Its just not in me.

Determination and stubborness will get you there...had many people tell me that I would not make it in to med school, then just as many think that I would not graduate. Contactesd most of them when I became an Assistant Professor for a highly ranked med school :)

In private practice now and doing fine. Partner in a big Orthopedic Group. :)

Best thing that happened to me was being treated like I couldn't suceed or was not good enough. Lit a fire in me that still burns! :hi:

Btw, was making a weak play on Burger and meat... Not trying to bash you at all.

I see what you did there. I'm not that flexible, but I can make a brisket, turkey, ribs (beef and pork). I'll BBQ anything I can kill or have killed.

Ha, thanks for taking the joke in good form. I got a buddy that has a smoker...can't wait until gamedays to check it out. Gon' be good!

Sounds good brother, wash it down with some cold beer!

Side note...some of my fondest memories involved panty wadding...but not from tough guys. :)

I laughed at the meat joke. You're right though. I just gotta wake up tomorrow and keep trying. I wish this was as easy as school. I have a better chance making millions than getting married. :).

It has been my experience that if you accomplish the former you can get the latter. It's WAY tougher to accumulate millions after you get a wife. Shoes and purses be expensive!

That's what I'm thinking!!! I don't want a money grubbing whore. A hooker would be a lot cheaper than a greedy woman.

Who says you can't buy love? You can by the hour.

I bet somewhere Donald Sterling is wishing he had passed on the money grubbing whore...at least with hookers, the rates are posted before the act.

The hardest thing about cooking a brisket is finding the right cut of meat. The rest takes patience. Inject that sucker, let it sit for a day, then slow cook for 8 - 10 hours.
I start out smoking the briscuit (charcoal and applewood) for about 2 hours. Keep the temp up to about 300 when smoking. After a couple of hours, wrap in tinfoil (some wrap it in saran wrap) and slow cook at about 225 - 240 for another 7-8 hours. You old hands know what I'm talking about.

Buy a cheap band, put it on your left ring finger...it is a magnet. You will get hit on a lot!

Do not lie...tell them you were treated wrong, needed time to "find yourself" and thought the band would allow that. Then laugh at yourself :)

Kinda kidding. But if you absolutely quit looking, they will come after you. Other option is to only ask out 8s or higher. Make it very casual and put very little effort into it.

Finally, if your chance is better at making millions, do that and women will track you down :)

Hang in there my Vol brother!

Maybe Freak could start a VFL dating site? :hi:

I'll be hanging. The band response is hilarious. I figure love can be bought by the hour if I don't meet someone. :).

Burger, you said you were in Cali. Just find some girl with daddy issues (lots of them there) and treat her like she's a 5 and you're a ten. That is all that's needs to be done.

Tyndall Formally Announces Basketball Staff - UTSPORTS.COM - University of Tennessee Athletics

Tennessee basketball coach Donnie Tyndall formally announced his full-time coaching staff Wednesday.

Al Pinkins, Adam Howard and Chris Shumate have been named assistant coaches. Jareem Dowling will serve as director of player development, and Justin Phelps is the director of basketball operations.

Tyndall also hired Todd Moyer as the program's strength and conditioning coach.

Dowling, Howard, Moyer, Phelps and Shumate were all on Tyndall's basketball staff at Southern Miss. Pinkins joins the Volunteers after three years at Ole Miss.

"I couldn't be more excited about the staff that we've assembled here at Tennessee," Tyndall said. "Every one of these guys is a great mentor and role model for our student-athletes. This is a young, ambitious staff that will never be outworked, I can assure you.

"I think our fans our really going to enjoy getting to know each of these guys. And along those same lines, I know we as a staff are eager to embrace the Tennessee fan base and build a fun and interactive relationship with the greatest fans in the world."

Veteran athletic trainer Chad Newman will continue to serve the program's sports medicine needs, as he enters his 20th year at UT.

Complete bios on each new staff member are found below.

Chelsea V. Atletico starting in about 15. Jose going with the 3-4-3 or the 5-2-2-1 formation.

50/50 Dales seasoning and apple cider. Used to just use Dale's but decided it needed to be tamed down a bit. A bit heavy on the salty side for my taste. The apple cider was the first thing I tried and works for me. I've used this on probably 10 briscuits - and most have been delicious. Had a couple that I had trouble keeping the temp up (it was to damn cold to be cooking outside)(live and learn). FWIW, my wife is from Texas, and she loves my Tennessee briscuit.
