What about Vandy? (Ranked ahead Vols in 9/10 defensive categories)

I understand what you are saying, but let's be honest. Given some of the earlier performances, being ranked ahead of the Tennessee defense is sort of like being better looking than Keith Richards.

Too funny!:bow2:

Yeah its not to hard to be ranked ahead of us after the early performances by this defense.

Florida put up 50 on Vandy. UT is better now than florida, so this game will be an easy win. UT might get 60!

Saying UT is better than florida right now is a stretch. There is a little matter of 59-20 you have to get past first. We are in a better position because florida didn't handle their business. I'll say this the game next year will be alot closer than this year was.

By "closer" I assume you mean geographically.

j/k, but seriously, Florida will be much improved next year and UT will almost surely take a step backwards, especially early in the season with a new QB. It won't be a 39 point blowout, but right now, if you had to make aline on it, Florida would be heavily favored in next year's game.

:eek:lol:

UT will be, at worst, a 3 point underdog to UF next year.

The game will be at Neyland.

Unless something happens I say it would probably more than 3 points . However that is next year and a lot of things can happen between now and then.
Right now we need to worry about Vandy. I think we win this one but it wont be as easy as many think.

Tebow loses his boyfriend Joiner next year. He will be so distraught that he will have no one to kiss on the sidelines that his game will fall apart.

I don't post much here but do read much of what is written....Does this character ever have anything positive, totally positive, to say about the Vols. He appears to leave the image of attempting to be objective but it's impossible for him to be so. Every thing that I read from him is always a dig at the team or a sarcastic remark toward the Vols with a spin toward the Gators. I realize that this is an open forum, but I wonder how long a Vol poster would remain on a Florida board if he/she took the same positions and made the same remarks regarding the Vols. I think I know the answer - all of about 3 seconds....

Law is one of these guys that believe his gators are just that much better than the vols. He buys into all the recruiting hype that florida will somehow become a juggernaut. The talent gap isn't that great and if we had showed up to play, he wouldn't be so sure of what he is saying. Next years game i gaurantee will be close i don't care what this troll says.

There are elements of truth to both of these posts.

:no:Two teams that are 2-0, the home team will never be a "huge underdog" if you're talking about betting lines.
Is UCLA going to be a gimmie? I figured that was potentially tough game for the Vols, but I have to admit that I have not studied who UCLA is bringing back.

I don't think you are going ot benefit from throwing yourself on the mercy of the court around here.

I'm not asking for mercy. Its a fact that I am a Gator fan and its a fact that many of my posts reflect that. I'm not really seeing what the problem is as I guess I am sort of surprised that other people on here are themsevles surprised that I often say things that are pro-Gator, anti-Vol.

I do pride myself in not saying things that are anti-Vol just for the heck of it. I criticize Fulmer because I think its deserved. I believe he is a two-faced hypocrite who is about three steps behind the rest of the coaching world. I criticize your players because I think they are not as good as ours. I think they are by and large slower and not as talented. So?

Frankly, I don't think I've made any anti-Vol comnet on here that someone else (a Volsfan) didn't also say. People aren't upset that its being said, per se, as others are also saying the same things. What makes them mad is that its a Gator fan saying it and that is their problem, not mine.

That must make the rest of the coaches in the SECE four steps behind everyone else since they are one step behind Fulmer.

Just makes no sense. Why will UF be much improved? Why will our D not be much improved? How can our offense take a big step back given that we have the line back, all receivers back, all RBs back and the QB only throws hitches, screens and quick ins today. I just think you're having a pipe dream.

There is no prayer for your offense to perform better than it did against us this year. It will most likely fare worse. Your defense has actually gotten worse over the course of the year. It might get better, it might not.

Fuzzy math.

I promise you that if your fans could vote and choose right now between Meyer and Fulmer, or to a lesser degree between Richt and Fulmer, it would be a landslide against CPF.

Well, we at least agree on something.
