I had thought about posting the composite 247 for those with them, but not many of those guys have a ranking.

Only the freshman do, all the transfers and JUCOs don't have any sort of ranking.

Scout doesn't do juco basketball rankings? Must just be football. Oh well. It might be interesting to look back at what they were rated coming out of high school but it's probably meaningless at this point.

Thinking Suarez and Carmichael are definites, Ellis (assuming he qualifies) and Chiles close as well IMO.

That leaves 2 open spots, possibly 3, with the guys above being 2 JUCOs, 1 freshman and 1 grad transfer.

The 1-2 other grad transfers besides Chiles seem to be completely unknown at this point, not sure what Tyndall has up his sleeve. There's been nothing on Justin Martin from Xavier, so maybe that ones in the works. The kid from USC would seem unlikely, but who knows.

If you really do a roster break down, it looks like this:
PG- Thompson
SG- Hubbs
SF- Richardson, Armani
PF- Davis, Reese
C- Pops

I could see us getting:
PG- Suarez
SG- Chiles
C- Ellis
PF- Carmichael
PF- Cofer

We know Pops is a wash in this system so we have 2 Bigs in Davis and Reese (who both could be used as 3's as well). Punter was our SG option, but I believe he'll be a Mustang after this weekend. If he gets someone else, it may be a transfer like Thomas or House that may sit a year (I know Thomas is trying to finish up his degree). Things will shake out much differently if Ellis doesn't qualify and Punter is uncommitted next week.

Are Galen Campbell and Brandon Lopez going through individual workouts? They seem to be forgotten as possible team members.

Something I noticed on Suarez is he went to the same HS as Cam Sutton and graduated the same year ('13) That can't hurt I'm sure...

Suarez is signed to an LOI with Southern Miss. If they release him will he have to sit out a year?

We're just waitin on USM to hire someone to get a release on Suarez and Carmichael correct? New coach has to be hired before they can file for a release?

No. You assume the new coach will let them go but the AD could release to anywhere but UT if he wanted. CDT says his relationship with the AD is good, but who knows. Martin and Hart acted like theirs was as well and it wasn't.
