I've always been pretty disappointed by the BBQ selection in Knoxville. The best one I've found nearby is a little place in Seymour called Mr. Bob E Que. It's been awhile since I've been there, but at one point it was very good.

I've seen that place and wanted to try it out. I know a great place out in sevierville that's pretty new. Everything is made from scratch. It's a little out of the way, but it's great! Can't remember the name, but it's on Pittman center road

Hard Knox is probably the best pizza I've ever had. I wish we had something like it in Chattanooga.

I've heard he could be banned from NBA games and even forced to sell the team (which probably would be illegal). Just wondering what could really be done

I don't know the terms of the contract the NBA surely has with it's team owners, but if they have to approve you by vote to get in (as it is with all major sports), I'm sure they have a way to vote you out.

In baseball, the league took over ownership of both the Montreal Expos and the LA Dodgers. I'm sure the NBA has the same capabilities. He owns the team, but is governed by the NBA. He willingly accepted that and the rules set forth by the NBA when he decided to purchase the team. If he does not live up to those rules (and multiple scandals would say he's not), then he can probably be forced to sell.

Forced Marge Schott out too.

Was going to go there being a Reds fan. Good post.

If I remember correctly there are clauses relating to economic viability of the franchise that can force a sale. Losing about all of your sponsors, advertisers, and a lot of fans tends to throw the business down the rat hole.

I have always wondered if getting rid of Marge was more about her making the other owners look bad . She was adamant that going to the ballpark should be affordable for a family.

I see what you did there. I'm not that flexible, but I can make a brisket, turkey, ribs (beef and pork). I'll BBQ anything I can kill or have killed.

If you've mastered the brisket you're definitely a BBQ man! Took me three runs before I nailed it. Tough to get right.

From what I've seen, the league can strip the Clippers of a franchise based on those clauses, which would essentially force him to sell or lose 600 million dollars.

Nvm, should have read first. This is my self-edit...

Really tired of all this racial crap.

Devil's advocate here. Why isn't the clipper's owner covered under freedom of speech.

I heard this morning that the NBA Commish could allow all Clippers players the right to be free agents at the end of the season. If the @$$bag doesn't have any players he won't have a team. What person in their right mind would want to play for that idiot?

He does have a right to his opinion and he can say what he wants but how can you expect a player to play for someone who despises you for the color of your skin.

Probably was to a degree. There were positives and negatives as there are in most things. Personally I could not stand that dog getting VIP treatment to the exclusion of workers and even players at times. That whole Nazi thing just reeked of racism and buffonery despite their attempts to change the reality and cover for her. But she was a woman with the fans' interest at heart that did make it more affordable and was there when they last won it all.

Can't believe I forgot that one! I have never been a reds fan, but I idolized a pitcher growing up that had a huge feud with her, so you can probably guess my thoughts on her. But they had some great teams back in the early '90's.

Thank you! It's tough because it's thin. I haven't mastered it, but I've gotten to the point where it's not like vulcanized rubber, and others seem to like it. I definitely think there's still room for improvement. I personally think beef ribs are the hardest though.

Just saying. We could talk about more important things than how "hot" some of you think recruits high school prom dates are. The objectification of women in our society is an underlying cause for many women having low self esteem their whole life

And a lot of those women treat men like dirt. Everybody gets objectified one way or another. Women have done that to me my entire life.

Why would you own a basketball team if he hated black people? Idiot will be forced to sell when the stadium is empty.

I bet if this was a black owner saying this about white people, there would be no scrutiny.
