Just curious Ron but what's your gut feeling on us landing Gibson? I got mixed feelings. I think there is a good chance he comes here. But at the same time he could be just dragging us along and pull a big let down at the end.

My gut feeling says Gibson doesn't sign with UT.

People keep saying that osu is slipping in his top group, yet they are always listed right in there. I'm not buying it. IMO he is osu's to lose.

OSU makes the most sense with this being Miller's last season. And the Big10 has a lot less speed on the field, so Gibson should be able to rack up a Heisman type campaign on the ground pretty easily.

Better chance of taking two more QB's with Jennings than just Jennings.

I think so as well - if one of Fergie or Dobbs really breaks out this year then QB doesnt seem like such a need

but if they flounder then you are right back at square 1 and will waste a lot of talent if you don't have someone that can step up at the QB position

you need to have a few backup plans imo

I honestly just don't see Gibson at UT. I think he wants to go to a school that's hot right now. Besides he hasn't really proved he's a great QB yet. He can run, but his go to pass is a 50+ yard.
