Yes, give me links with those guys stating clearly they have no interest in UT. Minnesota AD doesnt count as Pitino. Hes a diff person. Tyndall saying he loves his job is a far cry from "no interest in UT"

Exactly. We were paying Pearl an avg of $2.3m upon signing his new contract starting with the 2008 season.

Tennessee's last 3 hires from mid majors, Buzz, Pearl and Martin. 1/3, not a great success rate.

You mention Florida. Their hire to replace Donovan(when he took Magic job), a 2 time champ, was a mid major coach. The werent going after a name. UK is a diff place with tradition and support hardly any school has. They can hire a bigger name but UT doesnt have to to compete.

So VQ didn't hint at either one of those? And because you stalk HS kids means you have a handle on who the new coach could be? Doubt any AD consults hiring decisions with recruits.

Since you're connected to the recruits has Cornish entertained any overtures since Martin left? I grew up with Cornish's coach and have been in constant contact with him since the news broke. I'd love to hear what you "know".

Believe who you wanna, there's a guy out there saying Shaka to UT is almost a done deal and that Shaka has been asking Bruce about the job.

I've never once claimed to have inside knowledge on the coaching search, why do you have to make things up to try and prove a point?

No Cornish won't be going to Cal, and I dare you to say otherwise.

I'm not saying it's a done deal no way this guy is coming, I'm saying that's what's out there that speculation is these guys have said they're not interested either themselves or through someone. Is there speculation out there from them or through someone that they're very interested?

VCU Insider who also said Shaka took Marquette job. Has like 100 followers. Some guy with twitter. The fact you compare him with VQ guys is silly.

I said you know nothing more than any of us about what's going in the AD (i.e. Coaching search) and you use your predictions of recruits to justify you knowing what's going on. Now you say you never pretended to know. If you don't know then why mention calling commits before they happened? What was the point of that self-aggrandizement?

Did I mention Cal? I asked if he's entertained overtures from other teams? You didn't answer my question? See how that works? I dare you to pretend you have more of an idea what's going on than his own coach who has spoken to Cuonzo twice this week. I hope to God you don't think he'd disclose more info over the phone to you than his own coach.

He's waiting to see who is hired before he decides what he's gonna do, like every other one of our signees. I thought that was pretty much common sense lol
