I respect Coach Martin is many ways. And I really appreciate that he tried to mold his players into good men. They stayed out of trouble and did not embarrass our University. I really appreciate that alot. But he is coaching a big time school and with that comes fans that expect alot. And this was supposed to be the year we could break out. At the time so much was said the team was way underachieving. Losing to Vandy, twice to A&M and whoever else. Fans got ugly for sure....no doubt. But as a head coach you have to have thick skin....it should come with the job....and big salary. I am shocked at how he left but wish him nothing but the best. Our young players ofcourse are sad and going to defend him. Again I really respect Coach Martin and wish him and his family the best. It is now up to Hart to find an awesome coach with the passion that we are all looking for.

He also won't have to deal with POSes like yourself who'd rather have a guy that got in trouble with the NCAA. While I'll not wish poor things on my university, it's difficult for me to not say I won't enjoy it when Cuonzo does better at Cal next year than we will be this year.

I never wanted Bruce back, and your last sentence tells me what kind of fan you are. You need to spend more time watching the game, and quit going to new beginnings

Blah blah blah, you're so fascinated with douche bags, you must not be able to wait until you can use yours again.

Some of you people are crazy, and it's gonna be hard to get a quality coach in here after the way we treated CCM. Not only did college basketball analysts across the country call us crazy for wanting CCM fired, our own players are supporting his departure because of the way we treated him....

...yet some of us STILL believe he wasn't the man for the job here. SMH Good luck to CCM at Cal. I wish him all the best!

For the record, I'll give you credit for showing up today. Will you support the new coach like you did CM?

But...but...Cuonzo is a douchebag who is pathetic and worthless human, per Vols30. And Lord knows he always is right, even when those who are actually intelligent say otherwise.

Makes things crystal clear.

Gary Parrish ‏@GaryParrishCBS
That UT players seem to be publicly siding with Cuonzo Martin should tell you they didn’t like the way their coach was treated.

Jarnell Stokes ‏@JarnellStokes
@GaryParrishCBS agreed

My response to that is that they shouldn't have waited until the end of the year to start playing then.
Most of them can't even buy a beer...on the other hand I suppose you are an adult. Start acting like one!

Yes, I will. I won't call for his head, unlike some, I won't call him a douchebag when he's shown nothing but integrity, I'll still yell and scream etc. Just like I've said all damn season.

What happened with CCM is as much on the players as anyone, show up give 100% all year long and not just when the seat got hot and your feelings got hurt the pressure never rises!

It means your self-appointed role of judge, jury, and executioner of Jordan's legacy is probably a bit premature.

That wasn't the point. I'm just saying it's not wise to poke the bear. He probably is speaking from his own frustrations, but it's obvious he is emotional, and you sometimes say things you wouldn't say otherwise out of emotion.

Really? After all of the hours and hours spent together...in the gym, in meetings, in the weight room, on the road, you think they can't speak their mind? That is why we won games- because the kids and coaches cared about each other. I even criticized the basketball scheme and strategy at times, but you are questioning the very thing that helped this team get to the S16 after a petition was started to hire a new coach. SMDH.

Fans know more about the program than players, because we have sources!!! Lol
