HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I think if you aren't up to date, you wait to come here. I know I dont if I fall behind. This should be a place to discuss the season as it goes along.

I agree that's why I'm not saying anything much in this thread anymore, but you have a book reader spoiling in this thread.

The cup was on Joff and Margerys table, I'm fairly certain it was the wine that was poisoned. He had a couple of bites of cake and was fine until that first sip of wine.

It's established that the fool, Sir Dontos, had knowledge that it was going down. To me, that rules out Obyern and his chick. Whoever did it is very close to the Lannisters and is familiar with Joff and Tyrions mutual hatred for each other.

I found it interesting that noone except Margery tried to reel Joff in as he proceeded to taunt tyrion excessively....

I'm guessing it was big momma Tyrell after watching the scene again.

The problem with this is, why does big momma Tyrell dump such a substantial amount of money on a wedding that is essentially pointless? Her daughter isn't queen now that Joffrey's dead. Why would that have been her intention all along?

I have a feeling it's a character who has't made an appearance yet this season, but is always doing a lot of work behind the scenes.
