Stokes to announce decision tomorrow afternoon

I said he would be here 3 years for sure when he committed, and there was a good chance he would stay all 4 if he had decent teammates to play with his senior season, and everyone said I was crazy. All the ones who think their "BB experts" had him leaving after the 1st year or 2nd year at the latest, proving once again they know nothing about the game or talent. The end.

They have these trophies now that actually light up and stuff...

This isn't signing day. Pretty confident he has sat down and discussed this with his coach and he let him know after consultation on both ends. If he and Martin haven't sat down and are clear on a decision, that's a problem and he should probably leave.

I'm not sure what this means? Is someone saying he hasn't met with Martin?

So what's the point of announcing you're making an announcement tomorrow only to have the press leak your announcement?

coaching staff wouldn't have vibes. they would already know.
If they didn't already know, that would be a communication issue.

Assume you're referring to burning oranges post, I took it as if he was connected he was saying the vibe around them seemed upbeat about the future leading him to believe Stokes was returning. Not that the vibe the coaches had was he was returning, maybe I read it wrong, my apologies.

Reporters are wrong about this kind of stuff all the time. See: every coaching search ever.

That said, I'm pretty sure he's gone.

Man if he is in fact going---we have to hope and pray Rhett is wearing Big Orange next year!!!
All that said, I would LOVE to see my Sixers take him with one of their 37 second round draft picks...

Remember that Parrish is in Memphis. I would be shocked if he was wrong. He had Jarnell on radio interviews in high school.

I hope I am wrong and Parrish's sources are bad.

Let's be happy for this young man who chose to represent our beloved University. He now gets a chance to represent the Vols professionally. I wish him nothing but the best as he has been a great representative of our program. Congratulations on making it this far, here's to continued success.
