I love how Moseley is basically playing like a 5* freshman CB. He and Sutton are going to pay dividends for our D. And if Kelly, Berry, or McDowell can come in and display the same ability at S, I will feel a lot better about our D.

I agree 100%. But what sucks is that this is a game that's won in the trenches...

That's true. I think we'll be seeing more of a "bend but don't break" defense". We'll give up yards for sure, but hopefully we'll have enough speed to the limit the big 20-30+ yd plays.

How could you possibly know better than the coaching staff who works with the players everyday? Serious question.

people are allowed to have opinions contrary to those of coaches. Our coaches didn't do everything perfect on the field last year, and football coaches everywhere make stupid decisions all the time. Are they supposed to never be doubted?

Of course we can disagree with coaches and all have our opinions but it just makes no sense to react to this news with "I don't agree". Butch is basing his evaluation and decision on actual data over the course of a year+, what do we have to make an educated opposing opinion? His rivals page and some hudl? Just doesn't seem smart.

Butch and his staff work with these players every single day, they know them inside and out and if they think a position change is in order, it's probably the best for everyone involved.

Do you honestly think Butch is going to move Carr to OL if he was being effective at DL? DL might be our thinnest position on the roster, I'd say if Carr was doing well he'd stick to DL. JMO

Wow - terrible news for DT depth.

The fact we may move a DT to OT may indicate worse news about what our coaches think of our current talent there.

Going to be a rebuilding year for sure. I'm holding off my predictions until after spring practice, but I'm leaning towards a 5-6 win year. Too many holes on the lines. Should be a more entertaining 5-6 win year than last one though.

Doubt it. It's all about Carr being more explosive and physical. They want disruptive Dlineman and he's not getting it done.

No way he beats out anyone in the 2-deep at Oline.

Ron's right tho. Butch is probably either trying to motivate or something is up. We wanted Carr to beast on DL. Maybe it's not gona happen. We don't know tho because we aren't there.

Im not to concerned about the Carr situation, Butchs job is to put guys in position to succeed...or he could lose his job if they dont......You have to think he feels good about the freshman coming in to make this switch also IMO..
