The Official NASCAR Talk Thread

I've watched this Keselowski thing like 15 times and I still have no idea wtf he is talking about. And that's not because I'm a Kurt Busch fan, because it's not. I like Brad too. It's because I have no idea what he though the 41 was supposed to do. Literally no idea what he wanted the 41 to do or where he thought the 41 was supposed to go.

I respect Brad because he I think he is one of the few old school racers left meaning, he raced horrible equipment to earn his shot and when he got his shot he never looked back, but he really needs to learn to keep his mouth shut. I don't really see any blame at any party, just a racing deal.

NASCAR America on NBSsports is really great. Jeff Burton is great. NBC is also throwing some at this show. NASCAR-now on ESPN is not very good. Ricky Craven isn't very charismatic.

I'm hoping the race broadcasts are better when they switch.

So am I the only one would like to see IROC revived again?

Only if they do it in these:

Chase Elliott is the real deal.

I think so too. I watched him in a limited late model race at my local dirt track last year and there was no catching him. Of course it was likely better equipment against lesser talent, but I think he has "it".

Awesome, the race hasn't even gone green and both of my picks from pot A have gone to the pits and to the back of the field. Keselowski for damage to his hood from the jet dryer and Kyle Busch just because.

That's what I'm seeing on twitter. As if this season can't become more bizarre.

Never mind, they gave Keselowski his spots back for the drop of the green flag.

Now, Jr. just clipped the grass, cut a tire and destroyed his car. Also, flying pieces of grass seem to have hit Jimmie Johnson's car and nearly destroyed the windshield.

That was a mistake a rookie would have made. Also it looked liked Dale took a hit on the inside wall well after unbuckling his belts and taking his wheel off, could have been scary....

Not as scary as burning alive while strapped into the car. I'm glad he's okay. That's always scary when cars catch on fire at such high speed and guys have to get them stopped before they can escape.

DW just said "Kevin Harvick already has a win and has been running great." It wasn't 30 minutes ago that they were talking about him needing to pick it up or else they might not finish top-30 in the points and miss the Chase. WTF?
