Need elite DTs in this class...... We have not gotten that playmaker in the middle yet. Also need a freak DE. We're getting good players up front but we need those elite difference makers that wreck a gameplan.

I think Hendrix can be that guy for us at DE, really hope his grade thing works out.

I agree about in the middle though. Need 2 elite DT recruits this cycle

On a somewhat related note, I think I know why I like the recruiting forum so much better than the other forums on this site. I know the following statement won't apply to everyone here, but I think more people in this forum are cautious, glass-half-full types. This forum also is characterized (more often) by respectful conversation and disagreements as opposed to knock-down, drag-out fights. Thanks, and Go Vols!

You're just farting rainbows now, with all of this positivity.

I won't respond to all, but firing Dooley after his second year would have assured no decent coach in the country would take the job. No one wants to work for a boss with a trigger finger. In retrospect, yeah, Dooley needed to be gone, but you can't pull the plug after two seasons, one with a bowl game, and the other one game from a bowl.

DJ Jones

We're in it for all those DT's and it's possible that we sign 1-2 DE's who end up DT's, IMO.

Phillips
Alabi
Olenga

We're in good shape with those DE's. Josh Sweat and Byron Cowart are a couple of difference making elite DE's that keep talking about UT, just need to get them to visit. Cowart is planning to be at UT for the O&W game, hopefully he has a great time and comes back again soon after.

Along with OL recruiting, I think DL is set up to be elite in '15 as well. My early guess is we add Phillips, Olenga, possibly Roseboro, and 2 of the DT's to go along with Butcher and D. Jackson. I also think Olenga has the potential to be that elite difference making DE we're looking for. JMO

Gotta close strong. I think we will too. Solid start to the class, but we need more head turners on our commitment list. If so, another top 5 class is in our sights if we can get our numbers up.

Found this story interesting. I thought it was a bad painting myself, and evidently so did everyone else.

Derek Mason painting to be redone after complaints

It'd suck to be the artist who did that.

Poor guy, :eek:lol:

Personally, I felt the Vandy logos really ruined the whole thing.
