No, it won't. Have you actually watched his HUDL? Several dropped TD's.
Butch has said numerous times he needs playmakers on defense!! What is JJ not a QB but a playmaker that will play defense...There is a reason why they like Gibson and Gentry more and probably have a few more players as a QB on their recruiting board
Yes they will and yes I have...like most schools put the ball in the athlete's hands every play a lot of schools do that....but I still say no QB should ever throw 1-7 in a game I mean that's terrible!!! That tells me alone he is an athlete not a QB...That's like saying Nick Marshall is a good QB which he isn't
Is that irrelevant? Yes, it is.
All of a few years. Played in a few games, but no real NFL career. Point is that I care more about what a player does on The Hill than in the pros.
I agree with your overall point. I prefer a QB who can sling the rock AND lead us to a title, but if we end up with an offense like Auburn and it leads us to a title, I'll be thrilled.
Of course it is but my point is Butch does not have time for projects at QB...A few of yall seem to not see that and want the hometown kid to play QB at UT...I understand that but step away and look at other QB's UT is looking at and tell me JJ is being recruited as QB
They're going to take 2 QB's, so yes, they do have time for a project.
Ferguson is only a RS Freshman. Dobbs is only a Sophomore. The secondary looks promising for the future. LB'ing group does as well, so I have no idea what you're talking about.
Why would they take two QB's when they're only losing one? And Butch said he has to build the depth up for future so defense has been lacking speed for years...Where would JJ see the field the fastest special teams and defense...Butch has said he is impatient and wants to win now another reason why he won't take a project at QB
