'15 TN ATH Jauan Jennings (UT commit 4/7/14)

Jr was told details of the hat selection. How many and who. I found it hard to imagine this was BS.

FTR there will be 4. Only 2 had a chance.

Jennings didn't give any details to my son today he just told him to be in the auditorium when he announces.

I'm in Honduras right now. Haven't been able to reach out and ask about some folks lately.

I think I posted someplace in here, that his family loves UT and CBJ and that they were always leading the pack.

If Franklin were still at Vandy, this would be a battle between the two schools.

I will have to roll with PFort and co on this one. They have stated that that UT is recruiting him as a QB.

They could very well be recruiting him as a QB because he has been quoted as saying he wants at least a chance to play QB in college. To sign him, they have to be at least telling him he could play QB. Of course 2 weeks after he arrives to campus that could all change.

Do we need to keep all sharp objects away from you? You have become increasingly depressing.

The dark side forum posters are slowly pouring over into the recruiting forum... I hate the offseason.

I think they'll give him a full year to develop at qb (red shirt year) to give him a fair shake at playing QB then evaluate things.

That kind of recruiting will cost you in the long run. No way Butch pulls that.

So last year was his first year playing qb?

His highlights are good but I think they would be night and day different with some better wrs to throw to.. Seems like he put the ball on the money most throws but the wrs just couldn't hang on.

In his first season at quarterback, the four-star prospect threw for 1,465 yards with 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions last year. Four of the interceptions came on "Hail Mary" throws, according to assistant coach Daniel Childs. He added 815 yards and 10 scores on the ground and played a key role on defense at safety.

"He's a winner," said Blackman head coach Phillip Shadowens. "He has a dynamic personality and he's a dynamic quarterback with a big-time arm. He's still a little raw, but has an unlimited amount of talent. He's a no-brainer when it comes to getting an offer."
