HBO's "Game of Thrones"

So we're about a week away from the new season, and I'm just curious, who's story so far does everyone like/love/obsess over and which ones are boring to you or losing your interest? Obviously some are much better than others. Here's mine:

1. Arya and the Hound: favorite story
2. Daenerys and her quest: great story
3. Jaime and Brienne: great story
4. Theon and Ramsay Snow: great story
5. Sam and Gilly: good story
6. John Snow and the wildlings: eh... 50/50
7. Stannis and the fire priest: losing interest, good story but it really needs to pick its steam back up
8. Bran and the Reeds going beyond the wall: not very interested to begin with. Potential but needs to be semi-eventful.

I am EXTREMELY intrigued about this Martel who is coming to Kings Landing (Oberyn I think?). He looks like a great character.

I also want to know what's going on with the Brotherhood Without Banners. I imagine they're going to be big players eventually.

1. Arya and the Hound: favorite story Not my favorite storyline, but it's still great
2. Daenerys and her quest: great story Agreed
3. Jaime and Brienne: great story I'm meh on this one
4. Theon and Ramsay Snow: great story Don't like this one, can't stand Theo or Ramsay
5. Sam and Gilly: good story I am torn on this one. Sam is likeable at times, and then other times he annoys me to no end
6. John Snow and the wildlings: eh... 50/50 This is where we differ, this is my favorite storyline. I've enjoyed following John since the beginning of the show
7. Stannis and the fire priest: losing interest, good story but it really needs to pick its steam back up Love this storyline. The fire priest is such an interesting character. Really want to learn more about her background/powers
8. Bran and the Reeds going beyond the wall: not very interested to begin with. Potential but needs to be semi-eventful. Good storyline. A rag-tag group like that heading towards a massive undead army has my attention

Binge watched the season and finished it last night. My thoughts in the bold above.

I guess nobody cared about these? There are more to post if people want me to...

Would love to see more of these. I've been really into this series lately. I've only ready the first book in A Song of Ice and Fire, but I plan to read all of them at some point. Thanks man.

1. Arya and the Hound: amusing... but I'm confused why Arya doesn't scratch him off her list while he sleeps.
2. Daenerys and her quest: Best story - she's awesome and is rolling in to kick the crap out of the Lannisters. The clear favorite to win the throne at this point.
3. Jaime and Brienne: Great buddy story - I couldn't believe I found myself sympathizing for Jaime.
4. Theon and Ramsay Snow: I didn't like this one - I just want Theon to escape somehow.
5. Sam and Gilly: meh - both are awkward.
6. John Snow and the wildlings: I'm patiently awaiting the Jon Snow story to unfold; I'm most excited for this one in season 4.
7. Stannis and the fire priest: another meh - Stannis took his swing and missed; this story is just festering and not adding much.
8. Bran and the Reeds going beyond the wall: too damn cryptic - just tell us what the hell Bran is and why it's important!

She tried. He woke up and basically said "I'll give you one chance, and you better kill me" and she got scared.

I think now she knows he's helping her. He's pretty much all she has left.

This is probably the best description I have seen for the Stannis story. It's like we're watching a tournament, Stannis is a team that got eliminated, and for some reason we're still watching them practice.

IMO Gendry is obviously going to be a huge player, I'm thinking maybe Stannis' story is still in place to carry the current of Gendry's story into something big. Who knows though.

Trying to get caught up on this I'm about 5 episodes in and I can't get drawn in like I thought I would. Trying to keep up with the names is what is killing me lol.

Just a reminder about the rules..... once the episode has been aired this thread is fair game. If you don't watch the episode when it airs I would highly advise not clicking on the thread.
