Why aren't Feds stepping in to enforce drug & immigration laws? Do state laws only matter when a liberal agenda is present?

No. The thread and argument is about the federal courts stepping in and overturning state laws that are unconstitutional. Some uninformed and/or ignorant posters apparently believe that if the voters vote for something, the feds ought not overturn it.

If the feds had not overturned state laws that, for instance, banned interracial marriages, what makes you think that those states would have changed those laws on their own?

What two state are you referring to?

Damned good point! I assume you're talking about how Texas and Mississippi are constantly trying to ignore or overturn federal law relative to abortions, right? Why don't you start a thread about that? It'll be a hoot!

No. I'm not religious. I don't mind what you say in that regard. Whether it's bringing Jesus into it or spelling his name in a very clever manner is fine, but I'd be willing to bet you get on Mav for bringing Muslims into everything.

For the second time that was never asked. By your string of thought in that regard we would never vote on anything. Judges would just make laws based on the constitution and what they "Feel" is right.

You are what you are. I would hope you wouldn't lose sleep thinking about it. I just don't get why you'd try and hide from it.

Why do you say guys are afraid of gays? Who is saying they are afraid of them? Nobody is scared of them getting married. I think some people, like myself, are just disgusted by the fact of homosexuals marrying. Some just flat out don't care. I fail to see how that equates to being afraid.

I find a certain satisfaction that those who are against gay marriage bothers you.

What are you afraid of happening by letting two chicks or two dudes get married? Ok, you're disgusted by it. So you're going to tell them what they can and can't do?

No sir. I turn down trim daily. It's get aggravating honestly. Being married can be a pain sometimes. Especially when the young ladies are just too pretty. But I love my wife and respect my vows. ( and trust me- it's really hard to do sometimes)
