Tennessee’s annual pro timing session, held Friday inside the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center, allowed National Football League scouts the opportunity to see first-hand the skills of recent UT performers.

A dozen former Vols took part in front of 24 NFL representatives, and the man who organizes the event for UT saw plenty of effort and determination during the three-hour workout.

“It was great to see Nick Reveiz take the challenge of trying out at fullback,” said Condredge Holloway, Tennessee’s assistant athletics director for player relations. “He was willing to do whatever he had to do and I think he impressed them. I really do.

“He’s one of those kids who we might see play on Sunday because he’s got the grit and the fortitude, and he’s not going to let them tell him no.”

Holloway also liked what he saw from Luke Stocker and Denarius Moore, both of whom participated last month in the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

“I think Luke Stocker, even though he already had gone to the (NFL) Combine along with Denarius, the fact that they were here and willing to do everything — the only thing they didn’t do was the bench press, which they had done before — speaks volumes for them and their character,” Holloway said.

Reveiz registered a 37-inch vertical jump among his many times and measurements, while Moore was clocked at 4.37 seconds and 4.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash and Stocker looked sharp on his pass-catching drills.

Other Vols participating were Chad Cunningham, Savion Frazier, Gerald Jones, Daniel Lincoln, Jarrod Shaw, Victor Thomas, LaMarcus Thompson, Chris Walker and Gerald Williams.

The NFL Draft takes place April 28-30.

Tennessee’s current football team opens spring practice March 22. The Dish Network Orange and White Game is set for April 16.
