Here are three things about the 2010 Tennessee recruiting class …

A national class: There is no question that the Vols must not only sign their share regionally, but recruit nationally to get enough talent to compete for championships. This second class for head coach Lane Kiffin and staff has a real national look. There are players from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, California, Louisiana, Alabama, Illinois and Kentucky, with just one player from Tennessee currently committed.

South Florida strength: When Kiffin hired Eddie Gran to coach running backs and special teams and recruit talent-rich South Florida, it was obvious that the Vols would have a presence there and it shows when you look at this class. There are seven players that hail from the Sunshine State committed and six of those are from South Florida.
