Weve had a severe crime issue for decades. City has elected a DA that is not prosecuting people who willingly and repeatedly break the law.

People love to complain about how bad it is, yet they voted for this very outcome. People do what you pay them to do. And right now it’s the Wild West. People can argue until they are blue in the face but I am telling you this is putting a liberal DA who doesn’t enforce the law into an already lawless city. It’s going to continue, and all the uneducated public will do is try to ban guns lol. Great idea. Let’s just ban money next time wall street or a bank commits fraud.

A small effect compared to the unions that was riddled with Marxists and all out Soviet intel funding at times. Our blue collar class got hoodwinked into supporting those that wanted to destroy their livlihoods..... You may have been raised on eat the rich, and blame management, but that same Management made detroit at one point teh highest standard of living in the world. Basic line workers had summer homes in Florida.... what exactly do you think CHANGED the world economy? Or who do you think is behind ultimately globalization?

I'm fine with capitalism and healthy reward for risk as long as labor's not exploited. I'm not a fan of wage slavery and forced child labor.
The communist and socialist influence on labor had waned long before the heavily unionized industries went to the dogs. I knew quite a few union workers in the 70's and all they cared about was was how little work they could do and how much money they could extort from management. They wouldn't have known Karl Marx from Harpo Marx and they'd have clocked you if you insinuated that they were to the left of John Birch. Their behavior was a matter of stupid shortsighted greed. And they paid the price, along with those in their supply chain and dependent businesses.
A lot of what changed the world economy was that the US was no longer the only major developed country with a functioning industrial base. Europe and Japan rebuilt after WWII and a lot of the former third world built up their capabilities.

Boy do I have a story for you about the wonders of slavery under state controlled and directed communism.....lol This is the problem I have with people who think this way. You will absolutely go off on a lesser evil while championing the side that caused more acts of mass starvation, gulag slavery, and genocide...that you conveniently turn a blind eye to. The History of Marxism is slavery. All Socialism leads to the same end. Nothing is more based on slavery then the concept that you have a RIGHT to the sweat and blood of other people's efforts.

edit: Do you want to include slavery under non-communist regimes? Myanmar, Thailand, Vanuatu and a few countries in Africa come to mind. Or if a capitalist military dictatorship does it is it good?

Teach objective truthes in school, teach the bible, teach sin, teach morality at an early age. Teach girls not to have sex until married, teach boys the same. Teach boys to be men, good fathers and husbands. Teach that these actions are bad, do not glorify them.. thats a start.

It's difficult to fix problems if your approach is purely partisan and you're too stupid to figure out the causes. In a lot of cases it's just a matter of those on top trying to loot as much as possible while they can. Marxism generally has nothing to do with it. Do you think greed and incompetence are functions of right wing or left wing beliefs?
