I need to correct something I said, he would have taken the drug 24 hours before the fight, which would mean no fight benefit either. I forgot about that revelation....so it doesn't really make sense no matter what.

I know that doesn't prove innocence. Jones has proven to be stupid in the past, so saying it's too dumb to be true isn't enough to get him off.

Bones tested clean with USADA on 10/11 which is somewhat peculiar considering what he tested for in July stays in your system for 4-6 months.

4-6 months? I'm pretty sure only DBol, TBol and Test stay in your system that long. The B test was metabolite M3 which only stays in your system 45-60 days. Didn't his team already claim it was a tainted supplement anyway?

Fwiw I'm going off memory, cause I considered taking at one point and the side effects scared me away. If i remember correctly there also some other 5-6 drug, equiqse or some weird **** I'd never heard of beforem

I don't think that they did, but maybe. Jones didn't say anything. A teammate said sabotage. IDK that anybody said anything else.

IDK about the testing window. I was basing what I said off what was the UFC official (Novitsky) who handles these questions said about Jones. He said he tested positive for a "metabolite of an anabolic steroid....[which] a simple Google search would show you that this substance, it’s detection window has now moved out from four to six months. So, it doesn’t make a lot of sense that anybody with any level of sophistication would choose to use this drug."

I can't find 4-6 months, but I did find that it does stay in the body longer than the parent drug, so it's possible that I'm remembering incorrectly. It was a while back and I was in the seedy side of the interwebs. Lol

Have you guys heard about this Colby Covington guy? After smashing Maia's face in, he's been trashing Brazil and Brazillians. He called the place a dump and he called Brazillians filthy animals. They threw food and drink on him on his way out of the arena and Brazillian fighters were threatening him. Apparently Machida threatened to kill him (then he got himself KtFO).

Now CC is doubling down. I wouldn't be surprised if Dana gave him a lengthy suspension.

Bombshell....Holdsworth confirmed the story Garbrandt told about TJ kneeing CH in the back of the head in practice. Said he had recurring concussions after that. Also added that he heard TJ was doping back in the day for the Barao fight.

I’ve been quiet about this for awhile,” Holdsworth said on The MMA Hour. “I’m just not the type of person to jump into people’s feuds or drama. I like to lay low and just do my thing, but there’s been some talk, and after I heard T.J. lying about the subject, I’ve got to speak up on it.

T.J. has always been a great fighter, he’s a great athlete, but he’s always had, I don’t know, some type of competitive feud with me ever since I came to the team. I don’t know if it was because of envy or jealousy or whatever it was, but I just kinda always brushed it off as him being competitive and being, just, ultra-aggressive. I was always up for the fight, but there was multiple occasions where T.J. got a little bit too aggressive, he went overboard in training. He’s kneeing you while we’re boxing. He’s throwing elbows while we’re doing jiu-jitsu. And I remember that instance that’s out in the public — yeah, it’s definitely true.

I shot in on T.J. and I was on all fours, he was sprawled out and he kneed me on top of the head. And that was before The Ultimate Fighter. I remember I was kinda jarred up and everyone was watching, and I took like 30 seconds off and I kept going, I kept going through the rounds and I finished practice. But after that practice, I was concussed, and that was my first concussion. And it just kinda kept happening from there.

There was another instance leading up to the Chico (Camus) fight (in 2014), when he was getting ready for (Renan) Barao,” Holdsworth added. “And then it comes to where I hear he’s on some special supplements and stuff, and I just lost respect for the guy. There’s no hard feelings, it’s whatever it is, but he’s a cheater."

On CC (Colby Covington)... He got picked apart early against Maia, but obviously wore him down and by end was pretty close to TKO'ing the Brazilian Backpack. He's been on this Brazilian rant for a while. I seem to remember him saying negative things way before the fight. But after the fight...I don't know if I can ever remember a time when someone was so unapologetically ruthless to the fans. Sure, Brazilian fans are a different kind of crazy (chanting "You're gonna die" and such), but it can't be a good thing to do as a high profile individual. Maia said CC is pretty respectful behind the scenes, but CC's style of screaming barely coherent abusive trash talk walks a fine line. He thinks he is some type of Conor-esque hype machine with it, but Conor did it in a cerebral way. CC is just total cringe.

The entire Dillashaw fallout has been really hilarious to watch and hear about. The Alpha Male camp has a penchant for drama. I was somewhat of a casual until a couple years ago, so Holdsworth is somewhat of an enigma. Don't know much about him and it was an odd interview to hear because he tried to act like it was no big deal, but he was throwing some pretty hefty accusations. Truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. I doubt Dillashaw would have lasted long if he was routinely going too far in a camp against some high level guys unless for some reason everyone was scared of him.

I trust Urjah probably just because I like him. But he seems honest. He doesn't like to let the public know about the drama. He's talked on it some, but for the most part he doesn't say anything anybody doesn't already know about the situation.

I do not trust Cody. He may be telling the truth, but he seems like he would be the type to lie.

UF never refuted Cody that I know of.

Holdsworth didn't want to get dragged into it (which gives him more credibility now, IMO). A few weeks ago he said on Twitter that Cody had no idea what he was talking about (which doesn't refute anything specific).

Now that TJ has said **** (and supposedly lied), Holdsworth has his story to tell and he basically confirmed everything that CG said. I agree, the doping accusation is weird and is just randomly tacked on. It hurts his credibility a little bit and I would say he's obviously bugged by TJ. I am ready to jump to the conclusion that TJ is a villain and he's the worst kind because he pretends he's mr. nice guy.

McGregor says he will only come back to the UFC if he’s co-promoter. Looking more and more like the UFC needs to move on. One fighter can’t have that much pull in the organization. Ruins the spirit of competition.

Yep. It's understandable in the money fight day and age...but this is a sport. Let Conor do his own thing, but strip him so we can let the guys in 155 settle their business without waiting on a champion who isn't shy at all about going elsewhere for even longer.

The UFC is in a terrible position. There are no stars without Bones, RR, and McG. I love the fights, but the stakes are so low most of the time. I am not emotionally invested in 99% of the fights.

Cody just said in the UFC 217 Pre-Fight Press Conference while accusing TF of PEDs...

“You showed everyone how to do it on Team Alpha Male,”

This moron just straight up implicated his entire team in using steroids :eek:lol:

I never watch UFC anymore, but Joanna is too much fun to miss. She should be pushed more than Rhonda ever was, she literally has everything you want in a fighter. Amazing striking, great heart, a nasty attitude while being charming, and a trash talking hottie. Yes please.

I don't know if I've ever been this excited about a card. There are fights I've been more excited about, but from top to bottom, this card is stacked. I'm excited about the four main fights. OSP is on the card. I'm interested to see what Gall will do. Duffee is an interesting prospect. It's going to be a good night.

I'm going to this big fancy casino night party thrown by a billionaire at an exotic horse ranch tonight. I don't normally do stuff like this and I'd rather watch the fights.
