The Trump Lie Running Tally Thread

We need a thread to keep track of Trump's many ongoing fraudulent statements. It's a full-time job, really. But we can start here with his claims about U.S. taxes being the highest in the world. Wrong! Damn, what a surprise.

He was right. We have the highest corporate taxes in the world. Your article even admits that.

And corporate taxes should not exist at all. You're already taxing the share holders. Why should they receive this second tax?

Anger and hate achieve nothing.

Pretty good motivator for action. That's going to be the story of 2018. Kind of like the right's "lock her up", "repeal and replace", "build that wall". All of those were intended for nothing more than to generate anger and hate. And look at how well it worked.

But there is a difference between trumped up anger at Clinton--fake scandals, years of propaganda, fraudulent stories, Russian involvement, and then all stoked up by the biggest and loudest liar in the history of American politics. There was no reason to be angry at Clinton--it was/is all just right-wing crazy. Clinton is a sensible, intelligent person who was supremely qualified to be president but was met with a tsunami of bull$hit.

Trump, on the other hand, IS an immoral, vindictive, idiot who spends most of his time trying to bully people. He's a mobster. He lies about everything. So Democratic anger at him is entirely justified whereas conservative anger at Clinton was complete nonsense--the ranting of the corn-cob crowd. No decent human being can possibly be compared to Trump, but I don't expect the Ted Nugent fans on this site to acknowledge it.

What's funny is how the liberals actually think corporations pay any tax. You the consumer pay the tax. Tax rates go up, prices go up. Corporations pay zero tax.

Once again, excellent post.
