Saturday's game represents the 43rd meeting between Tennessee and Florida.

Florida has a 23-19 series advantage, including an eight-game winning streak, the longest for the Gators in the series. UT's last win in the series was on Sept. 19, 2004, a 30-28 victory at home.

Florida owns an 11-5 edge in Gainesville. The Vols last won at UF in 2001 and 2003.

The Vols have defeated the Gators four times since 1998, and in three of those seasons, Tennessee has appeared in the SEC Championship Game (1998, 2001, 2004; also won in 2003).

Tennessee has scored at least 30 points vs. Florida only twice in the last 12 meetings, winning both games (34-32 in 2001, 30-28 in 2004).

Represent the first win over the Gators since 2004 and snap an eight-game UT losing streak to Florida.

End an eight-game conference road losing streak since a 24-10 win at Vandy on Nov. 20, 2010, including all SEC road games in 2011 and 2012. The Vols would also be 1-0 in SEC play for the first time since 2004.

Give Tennessee its first win over a ranked team since beating No. 21 South Carolina on Oct. 31, 2009 and the first road win over a ranked team since Oct. 7, 2006 at No. 10 Georgia (51-33). The Vols defeated No. 18 Wisconsin on a neutral site in the Jan. 1, 2008 Outback Bowl (21-17).

Improve Tennessee to 3-1 for the third consecutive season, but also for only the fourth time in the last eight seasons from 2006-13.

UF was 11-2 last year with the same offense. At this point I'd take ugly wins over 5yrs of irrelevance. Quit complaining! :stop:
