This is least interested I've ever been before a UT-UF game. If UT loses today, I think it's the beginning of the end for Butch. His thin skin won't be able to take the heat from fans and media and his excuses will become tired with the majority of the fans.

Things are being set in motion. His insecurities will get him this week

We should've run the football inside the 5. Why put it on a suspect passing game when you have the single best player running all over the field?

Sure, but hindsight is 20/20. The fact of the matter is Palmer should have scored, Kelly should have scored, and the kicker should have scored and Larry Scott should be celebrating putting up about 37 points in the swamp. This game is not on the offensive play calling, IMO.

Sure, but hindsight is 20/20. The fact of the matter is Palmer should have scored, Kelly should have scored, and the kicker should have scored and Larry Scott should be celebrating putting up about 37 points in the swamp. This game is not on the offensive play calling, IMO.

Asking kickers to hit at 44-50 yarders to carry your offense is absurd.

And that was what 1 of 2 times he touched it on those drives? We should have ran it earlier and we let a shaky QB throw. They were dumb calls.

You can't really blame kickers that miss from over 50. Shotgun from the 1 and throwing multiple times is awful. Coaches get cute close to the goal line instead of running it up the middle. A QB sneak scores there and UT puts them game away but like every Butch team, they can't get out of their way. What we saw today has been the last 4 years and it will continue to be that way as long as Butch is coach

We missed one from 50. We missed from 47 and 44, too.

We have guys that get dumb personal fouls with terrible timing, back to back false starts, 3....mother****ing 3! dropped TD passes, we let the offense get behind us on a last second play again, etc.

That play wasn't called when we were inside the 5, he's talking the earlier series when Kelly didn't even get a touch. We run it then and more than likely we are up and just running out the clock.

I just hope we don't miss our opportunity to snag Chip Kelly. I'm not the biggest fan of his system but I'll jump at the chance to take a proven commodity. Dude runs a pretty tight ship.
