The Bengals are being built to last longer than 1 or 2 seasons. As long as Joe stays healthy that is.

They'll get deals for J. Burrow, J. Chase, and Tee Higgins done. They've got their LT and a few more OL signed to multi year deals.

They'll be at least a perennial playoff team provide the skill position players stay healthy and they can keep the OL halfway cobbled together.

Managing the remaining cap dollars and getting value defensive production might decide whether we continue having more than a punchers' chance as a SB contender. Being able to retain Lou Anarumo as our DC into this season was huge. If the NFL wasn't trending so heavily towards offensive minded HC's lately, we probably would have lost him already. It's still only a matter of time before he gets a HC gig, hopefully we can keep him for a few more years.
