The Florida Series:

Saturday's game represents the 42nd all-time meeting between the Vols and Gators.

Florida has the all-time series advantage, 22-19, including seven consecutive victories since 2005, their longest streak in the series with the Vols. Tennessee has scored 23 or fewer points in each of those games and 20 or fewer in six in a row from 2005-10.

The last time the two teams played when both were ranked was Sept. 15, 2007 (#22 UT vs #5 UF).

UT has lost three in a row at home in the series but owns an 11-10 advantage in Knoxville. The Vols' last win in the series was a 30-28 win at home in 2004.

The Vols have defeated Florida four times since 1998, and in three of those four seasons, UT has appeared in the SEC Championship Game (1998, 2001, 2004; also won in 2003).

Tennessee has scored at least 30 points vs. Florida only twice in the last 11 meetings but were victorious both times (34-32 in 2001, 30-28 in 2004)..
