The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

So, if you don't like trump, you're no better than him?

Meh, whatever you say. I haven't cheated on my wife or sexually assaulted anyone. I damn sure haven't been indicted in multiple districts on felony charges.

You show your lack of objectivity. If you go to the Bernie Sanders thread you can see where I defend Bernie saying I don't buy the rape story of a boy until there is real evidence. This story is "supposedly" decades old and to throw out outrageous charges like that is damaging. I think Bernie is a commie, but I think those accusations are sickening without a first hand account, and supporting evidence.

However you are cheering a felony charge for a bookkeeping entry.

Laws the law. Either you broke it or you did not. Now it's comical to me that LG has a hardon for this but had no problem giving Clinton a pass bc it was "sex"

There is a strong argument he did not break the law. It is a legal expense. There are a lot of payments companies make everyone is not privy to the details. At worst it's a classification issue of pocket change for a large corporation.

Well that's kind of why we have a trial. Did he break the law or not? It's not clear he did or didn't. People on both sides sound dumb declaring one way or another. There is a trial that will lay it out.

How's that saying go? "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time."

Look, I already stated this was soft and that my enjoyment comes from watching trump squirm. If he didn't do it - a jury of his peers will exonerate him. It's the beauty of the American Justice system.

Lol..this is a kangaroo court case. A joke of the justice system. Your position is ridiculous.

The grand jury that was privy to the facts disagrees.

If and when he is convicted, I'm sure your tone will shift to blame the biased jury. Never his fault, he is a professional victim.

Weird how you guys keep walking through the smoke and never see the fire.

Translation: "You're right, I got nothing."

It means that it's pointless to continue to explain it to you. You think this trial is just. Bragg is out here letting real criminals get off light to commit further crimes, but he got his man and you like it. Hey at least they can embarrass Trump but this whole thing is dangerous for America. This is kangaroo court type stuff and rest assure the Biden Administration has a hand in this too.

I think he clearly ran afoul of the law.

The real question appears to be - Is what he did worthy of being upgraded to Felony, and then replicated 34 times?

Sounds flimsy.

Jonathan Turley in 'utter disbelief' over Trump's hush money case

Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley joins 'America Reports' to discuss the public's opinion on Trump's behavior in relation to the hush money case and the trial's impact on his ability to campaign.

when the Feds who are looking for anything, dont touch it..tells me all I need to know.
Changing the SOL
34 Felonies
Took 8 years to get here
All these trials coinciding right at election time

yea..a joke.

Coordinated efforts to apply maximum damage to his campaign.

Again, that's why we have a trial. That's part of it
I don’t think the secondary crime, which enables the felony enhancement, is held to the same standard as the underlying crime.

It’s the enhancement that reeks. Along with all the parties involved…

Biggest takeaway is Pecker testified he/Cohen/Trump had relationship to kill stories before Trump declared he was running for POTUS...

Just making it harder to connect dots to cover up campaign finance crime.....
Sounds like he said he met with Cohen, Trump, and Hicks in 2015 and was explicitly asked “what can you do for the campaign?” And then went out and started beating the bushes for negative stories on Trump to feed to Cohen.

The idea of any of this as an enhancing criminal offense seems super weak, but I think he helped the prosecution if they’re trying to establish it was campaign related.

The testimony is interesting in that Trump was doing the same thing with the Enquirer that he adapted to QAnon and the entire right wing nut job media sphere. Basically taking fake **** and commenting on it or tweeting about it. His comments elevate it to the next tier of biased media until it gets run on FOX primetime, which basically makes it gospel for their viewers.

It should not even be a valid case. Is that not registering?

So your beef is with the law and the grand jury that decided there was enough evidence that Trump may have violated it.

Seems you should be upset with the law makers, not the people tasked with enforcing it. As another poster pointed out, this isn't the first time a case like this has been brought. Weird how no one was outraged when it happened to a democrat running for the white house.

The irony of Trump having his fingers and campaign money in the proverbial cookie jar as one of the biggest purveyors of #fakenews shouldn't be lost on anyone.

While his minions created it, he was on the campaign trail crying about it.

The Trump haters in this thread just love the process even if they take the L at the end. To anyone that is not a retard, it is a political witch hunt which is one of the more dangerous things this country can have. They don't care. They are the types who would love getting shocked over and over in an electric chair and hope to be pulled off alive after 30 minutes.
The reality of this is that it is a way to keep Trump off the campaign trail.

The socialists are desperate because they know Puddinhead would lose bigly in a straight up, honest campaign

Biden = Harris
