maybe I'm just dense but I have no idea why Smallvol#1 should be freaking over a opinion on a sports board.

Can't we all just get along? :)

just saying why UConn attendance may be down as well 15.00 - 22.00 per at the XL Center (last time I saw). Im not sure of the price on campus (Gampel), Webster Arena or down at the casino where the CT Sun play. Im not sure if the 4 venue are helping or hurting (fannies in the seat or do the prices make up for the lack of fannies).

You're only thinking I'm stirring because that's what you want to think. You and I both know that many think Connecticut is some "rich" "wealthy" state.

Isn't it still #1 in income per capita or has if fallen to #2 or #3?

Not again guys....No more real estate banter.

OK, So. Carolina is number one in attendance. The real competition is on the court, not in the stands.

I think it is WONDERFUL that SC has over 12,000 fans per game. Hope it's even higher next season.

Also hope all women's college basketball teams have 12,000+ fans at their games. Hope TN has 20,000+ fans at their games.

Love the game. Want the women's teams to have many fans.

Best answers, IMO.

CT has the highest per capita income for a state ($38K), but not surprisingly they all are far behind Washington, DC ($45.K) where the government functionaries and politicians live. CT also has one of the highest tax nuts in the country, ranking as the 48th worst for state and sales taxes.

Another factoid - DC median household income has increased from 57K to 65K since the socialists to office. Median HHI was fairly stagnant or decreased for most states during the same period (2009/2014).

Now that the capitalists are running the House and the Senate, I guess we can expect the number to drop.

Sales tax rate is 6.35%. State tax in CT depends on your income. Many get a full refund on state taxes.

Nice job SEC, the next few years should be special, especially with all the influx of talent.

Ticket prices for center court both sides of TBA are 1,000.00 donation per seat, then 260.00 ticket price per seat. The ends where bends into end zones are 100.00 donation per seat and 260.00 per seat, so you see alot more expensive than most if not all colleges. Most of the center both sides are filled with people who have been there for years(20 or more) and probably do not pay that much donation. I am sure that they pay something but the minute they give up the seats........there you have it.
