SEC Expansion What If - SDS Article

Some of you who want to get rid of A&M, yet keep Vandy are hilarious. Vandy brings absolutely nothing to the sports that matter. Texas A&M brings the viewership of Texas as well as recruiting in Texas.

They already had historical rivalries with LSU and Arkansas. Ask any TN fan who went to the A&M game in 2016 how great the fans were and the atmosphere at the stadium was.

Vanderbilt is still in the SEC because of their academics otherwise they would have been booted out years ago!

Vandy makes no sense. They have been successful at every sport but football. Football trumps all in most peoples eyes. Its hard to kick teams out though.

Virginia Tech has been the most SEC like school for a about three decades now, they've always made sense in the SEC.

Duke and North Carolina would be my choice. Big market and helps in Bball. Extra moneies for the TV contracts adding NC into the footprint.

Adding North Carolina would hurt Tennessee. Tennessee has historically depended on recruiting NC and one of our selling points is the SEC. If recruits can stay at UNC and still play in the SEC, that negates that sales pitch.
