Migrant Teen Accused in Times Square Attack On Cops is Arrested Again for Macy’s Robbery

One of the migrants allegedly involved in a mob assault on a pair of cops in Times Square has been arrested again — this time for participating in a coordinated robbery of a Macy’s store in Queens.

Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel, 19, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with robbery and petit larceny, police announced.

He is one of four people charged for allegedly entering the Queens Center Mall around 5:33 p.m. Tuesday and “acting in concert” to steal clothes that they tried to hide in bags.

National Guard Urged To Check Migrants Arriving In NYC for ‘Tren de Aragua’ Tattoos As Gang’s Numbers Grow Stateside

New York State National Guard troops are being told to check all migrants arriving in the Big Apple for distinctive tattoos linking them to the vicious Venezuelan “Tren de Aragua” street gang, The Post has learned.

The decree comes as the NYPD this week issued a “Situational Awareness Alert” warning that the brutal gang is increasingly making its presence known in the five boroughs — with members claiming asylum at the US border and flocking to New York to join other gangbangers.

“It’s to a point that they had to post policies on use of force like if we were in a combat zone,” one National Guard source told The Post on Wednesday.

According to the NYPD alert, “Tren de Aragua” — Spanish for Aragua Train, a shout-out to the gang’s origins as a railroad labor union in Aragua, Venezuela — is growing in numbers in the Big Apple and now firmly on the police radar.

Alias Satanas, the reputed leader of the brutal “Tren de Aragua” Venezuelan gang is detained by Colombian authorities.

According to the department, gang member tattoos include the Nike logo of NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan along with his uniform number of 23 — with the number referring to “23 de Enero,” or 23 of January, a Venezuelan neighborhood that spawned a revolutionary group in the 1980s.

Other common gang tats include a crown, weapons like AK-47 assault rifles, stars and gas masks.

Some “Tren de Aragua” members wear tattoos with the initials “HJ,” for “Hijos de Dios,” or Sons of God, which can be part of the gang’s lingo, or the phrase, “Hasta la Muerte,” or Until Death, in body ink.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Hands ‘Black and Brown’ Businesses $18M to Feed Migrants

View attachment 619704

Chicago’s Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson recently touted his efforts to bestow $18 million exclusively to “black and brown” businesses to feed the thousands of illegal border crossers the city is housing.

Johnson’s administration partnered with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, BJ’s Market, and other nonprofits by diverting the huge sum to minority-owned businesses, according to WFLD-TV.

During a press conference on the partnership, the “sanctuary city” mayor celebrated the program, applauding “black and brown businesses” as the “soul” of Chicago.

“The $17 million investment for these 18 black and brown small businesses, is really the, um… it really captures what I call the soul of Chicago. It’s who we are,” Johnson told the media.

“I actually think it’s quite fitting that we are in this wonderful small business because it has been black and brown small businesses that have stepped up in this moment, in this crisis, to respond to these families who are arriving here,” Johnson added.

I like how it is "a crisis" when it makes you look good, but the opposite when it makes you look bad.

NYC Migrant Accused Of Beating Cops Claims To Be Afraid Of Jail, Attorney Says He’s Received ‘Death Threats’ Online

One of the New York City migrants accused of beating two police officers in Times Square claimed Friday during court that he is now afraid of jail time due to “numerous death threats” that he has received online, his attorney said.

Venezuelan migrant, Yorman Reveron, 24, appeared in court Friday over allegations that he was involved in the beating of two New York Police Department (NYPD) officers late January. Reveron’s attorney asked presiding Judge Ruth Pickholtz if the migrant could be freed without bail in order to protect himself, as he allegedly “received numerous death threats on social media in regards to this case,” according to the New York Post. (RELATED: New York Pledges More Than $2 Billion To Assist City Migrant Crisis)

“They are, to be frank, afraid to come to court,” Reveron’s attorney said of the migrant and his family.

Pickholtz responded dismissively, referencing Reveron’s criminal history in his year in the United States, the NY Post reported.

“It’s clear that Mr. Reveron has been here one year and already had two interactions with the law: petit larcenies and assaultive behavior,” the judge stated before holding Reveron on a $100,000 bail. “And while he was out on supervised release, he continued in this case. So bail is appropriate at this time.”

Boston's Migrant Shelter Luxury: State Pays $16 For Breakfast, $17 For Lunch And $31 For Dinner As They Live In Hotels For Free After Entering The US Illegally

  • Massachusetts Has $116 Million in Contracts to House Migrants Through June
New documents show the rising public cost of sheltering migrants in Massachusetts, as the state grapples with a strain on its emergency shelter system.

The state has 17 contracts totaling $116 million to house migrant families through June, including a no-bid $10 million contract for a company providing meals, CBS News Boston reported, citing documents obtained by the outlet.

In some cases, the state is paying hotels $64 per person each day for meals, including $16 for breakfast, $17 for lunch and $31 for dinner.

Last August, Massachusetts Governor Maura T. Healey declared a state of emergency, saying the state had more than 20,000 migrants in its shelter system.

Gretchen Whitmer Looking For Michigan Residents To House Migrants

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s “Office of Global Michigan” is looking for resident volunteers to house illegal aliens in their homes and integrate them into society.

ABC 12 reports Whitmer’s administration is seeking volunteers to do several tasks, including, “meeting the person or family at the airport, helping find housing, enroll children in school, and help with finding employment for adults.”

The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Development says residents who participate must make a 90-day commitment to apparently meet every migrant need.

Appeals Court Upholds Ruling Striking Down NYC Voting Rights for Foreigners

1708632639468.png

A New York appeals court upheld a prior ruling that struck down a New York City law giving local voting rights to nearly a million foreign nationals.

As Breitbart News chronicled, Democrats on the 51-member New York City Council approved a plan in January 2022 that gave more than 800,000 foreign nationals with green cards, visas, and work permits the opportunity to vote in citywide elections so long as they have resided in the city for at least 30 consecutive days.

Black New Yorkers, along with naturalized American citizens, the New York State Republican Party, the Republican National Committee (RNC), and Democrat officials like Councilman Robert Holden subsequently sued Mayor Eric Adams (D) and the city’s Board of Elections.

In June 2022, the New York Supreme Court ruled that giving local voting rights to foreign nationals violated the state’s constitution, which explicitly reserves voting for American “citizens.”

On Wednesday, the New York Appellate Division upheld that decision:

Colorado Town Declares Itself A Non-Sanctuary City As Denver Grapples With Immigrant Influx

As Denver continues to struggle to absorb the city’s flood of immigrants, a nearby Colorado town unanimously decided in a 7-0 vote this week that it would not become a sanctuary city.

On Tuesday, the Monument City Council reviewed a resolution that was “drafted by a press conference held by El Paso County Commissioners and Colorado Springs City Council member Dave Donelson,” the Colorado Springs Gazette reported. Mitch LaKind, the mayor of Monument, Colorado, told Fox and Friends First on Wednesday that the town did not have the financial resources to take on an influx of immigrants in the way Denver, a sanctuary city, has.

The city’s decision comes as Denver has taken in about 40,000 illegal immigrants just 40 miles away over the last year. The Mile High City’s population is over 700,000, making about 5% of the city immigrants.

LaKind added that there was not enough room in Monument for immigrants whose limited stays at shelters in Denver have ended. He told the outlet that if immigrants come to Monument, city officials and police will work with the federal government to have them transported elsewhere.

Gov. Kathy Hochul Says New Yorkers ‘Need a Break’ from Illegal Immigration While Giving Welfare to Illegal Aliens

1708741083655.png

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) says New Yorkers “need a break” from illegal immigration as her administration opens welfare to border crossers and illegal aliens arriving in the sanctuary state.

During an interview on MSNBC this week, Hochul said the arrival of nearly 200,000 border crossers and illegal aliens to New York since the spring of 2022 has “overwhelmed” and strained public resources, suggesting more arrivals ought to be shut out to give New Yorkers “a break.”

Hochul’s comments come as her administration has reportedly quietly opened a little-known welfare program to potentially thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens in New York, the New York Post reported:

The Hochul administration is quietly using taxpayer dollars to gift cash payments to thousands of migrants who don’t qualify for typical welfare assistance, The Post has learned. [Emphasis added]

The cash windfall was made possible by the state Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance modifying its “Safety Net Assistance” [SNA] program’s eligibility rules in May to include non-citizens with pending applications for legal asylum status. [Emphasis added]

With more than 173,000 migrants coming to the Big Apple since spring 2022, if only 10% of migrants here are eligible for SNA payments, the number of recipients could exceed 17,000 in NYC alone. [Emphasis added]

Similarly, for years now, Hochul has championed illegal immigration to New York by often parroting talking points from the United States Chamber of Commerce suggesting that new arrivals should fill low-wage jobs in the state’s workforce.

Late last year, Hochul announced a state program to get thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens into New York jobs.

At the same time, Hochul has sought a massive billion-dollar bailout from President Joe Biden’s administration whereby American taxpayers would foot the bill for border crossers and illegal aliens in New York to secure jobs, healthcare services, housing vouchers, and free public transit.

Newsom Blames Republicans After Border Patrol Releases Hundreds of Illegal Aliens In San Diego

Hundreds of illegal migrants were mass-released into California on Friday after video surveillance footage captured a Border Patrol bus handing them over to a nongovernmental organization (NGO).

About 200 illegal aliens were mass street released in San Ysidro, San Diego, from Border Patrol custody. The migrants traveled from Peru, India, and Columbia, many saying they were heading to Atlanta and Minneapolis to look for work.

You're on your own: Shocking Moment CBP Releases Hundreds Of Migrants Into San Diego after border city ran out of cash to care for them

Shocking video showed border patrol agents releasing hundreds of migrants out at a San Diego bus stop just a week after the city had to close a shelter intended for them due to lack of funding.

Non-profit SBCS shut the recently-opened migrant facility for good a week ago - reflecting the bleak picture across the country as the numbers of asylum seekers coming to the US remain sky-high.

The over 350 migrants were left to their own devices on the street after CBP let them free at a transit center, though aid groups tried to help them as best they could, attempting to put together makeshift facilities and attempted to take them to a parking lot so they could charge their phones and hail rides to the airport.

Border Vets Group Patching Up Gaps in California Border Wall that have been ignored by feds

A group of California veterans have taken it upon themselves to seal gaps in the US-Mexico border, planting metal stakes and razor wire in hotspots where thousands of migrants have been illegally sneaking through.

The “Border Vets” have been focussing their work on Jacumba Hot Springs in the mountains around 60 miles east of San Diego, which has become a popular migrant crossing in recent months.

“Whoever it is you’re waiting to do this for you, they’re not coming. It’s going to be people like us, people like America’s veterans,” retired marine Kate Monroe told Border Report.

“It’s really serious for everybody here that we protect our nation. The holes that we can find (in the border wall), we’re going to go ahead and get the razor wire and do our best to defend our country.”

NYC Mayor Eric Adams is Accused of Wasting Millions of Taxpayer Dollars on Migrants by Doling Out NO-BID CONTRACTS to Firms Paying Shelter Supervisors $1,500 A SHIFT

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been accused of wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on no-bid contracts that pay for-profit companies 'exorbitant rates' to manage emergency shelters for asylum-seeking migrants.

City Comptroller Brad Lander made the claim in an audit of migrant-related contracts released on Tuesday, identifying 340 asylum-seeker contracts representing an estimated contract value of $5.7 Billion.

In one case, a vendor charged the city $185.63 per hour for shelter supervisors, totaling nearly $1,500 per eight-hour shift.

In another example, the audit notes that the city is paying security guards $90 per hour under one of the NO-BID contracts, in contrast with $29.80 per hour for a city employee or $25.07 per hour for the average contracted rate.

Queens Business owner Housed EIGHTY SEVEN 'Senegalese Migrants' in Basement and charged them $300-a-month each for shelter and three meals a day, netting him $313,000 in annual rent

A Queens business owner housed 87 migrants in a basement, charging them a $300 monthly fee for shelter and food, and earning $313,000 in the process, according to police.

Officials made the shocking discovery on Monday during a building inspection after a 311 call prompted an investigation in Richmond Hills, law enforcement sources told PIX11.

The caller had complained about delivery e-bikes filling up the building's backyard, mayor Eric Adams said on Tuesday.

The owner of the business located in the building, Ebou Sarr, told PIX11 he was charging each migrant $300 a month to live there and to receive three daily meals.

That is equivalent to $26,100-a-month, or $313,000-a-year.

‘She’s Not Ready’: Progressive Georgia District Attorney Steps Down from Laken Riley Case After Criticism

1709246055528.png

The Democrat district attorney of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, has stepped down from the Laken Riley murder case after critics pointed out she has never secured a single guilty verdict in a jury trial.

District Attorney (DA) Deborah Gonzalez announced Monday that Special Prosecutor Sheila Ross would take over the murder trial for illegal immigrant Jose Antonio Ibarra, who is accused of killing the 22-year-old Augusta University nursing student on February 22.

Ibarra, 26, is a Venezuelan national whom multiple U.S. law enforcement agencies have arrested and set free since he illegally passed through the country’s southern border in 2022.

1709246144081.png

Since Gonzales became the DA in 2020, her office has failed to prosecute a whopping 46 percent of criminal charges and has pleaded 130 felonies down, according to an 11 Alive report.

Three victims also filed lawsuits against the prosecutor, claiming that her office skirted legal procedures by not informing them before their respective offenders were offered plea deals or had their cases dismissed.

Gonzalez also faces a civil lawsuit “claiming she’s failed to manage her office properly to maintain the staff and caseload needed to fulfill the duties of the DA’s Office.”

“Gonzalez has failed to achieve one guilty verdict in a jury trial involving any type of criminal case,” said Epps, who is suing Gonzales on behalf of an Athens bar owner “who claims she is unwilling to do her job.”

Georgia State Rep. Houston Gaines (R) also called out the DA in multiple social media posts, pointing out that she said on her first day in office that she would “take into account collateral consequences to undocumented defendants” in her decisions.
