We finished T-7th in the SEC last year. I think it’s a reasonable projection.

I said in the first sentence that “this feels fair.” Didn’t say it wasn’t reasonable, just that I think we’ll finish higher than 6th.

We should be a lot of fun to watch and I’m hoping this team can be special. Last year was weird and didn’t go as planned in some regards. The Vols righted the ship the back part of the season, which was awesome to see. Honestly, I’m a little surprised we weren’t Top 5 to Top 7 range.

The questions are that half of your starters on offense were not playing in the SEC last year. That is why we are not ranked top 5. But I'm guessing the players would rather be #15 so they are hunting not the hunted.

Thought it was hilarious on the D1 Baseball podcast of their top 25, Aaron Fitt was supposed to do Tennessee, but he traded with Kendall Rogers to do it. There are some who say Mr. Fitt doesn't like us too much. Coincidence..maybe.

Nah. Burns is no longer a Vol so rooting for him is not required.

All I can say is that it will be interesting to keep an eye on how he performs.

I have to believe there are more qualified answers here in this forum, but I can't fathom how (outside of downright luck) A&M, Oregon State, ECU, or LSU make Omaha.
