Looking at total salary for asst. it looks like we are 9th if it's 5 million even for assistants. That's with paying the least of those other 8 for head coach too!!! Pathetic!!

I would think that is waived in the event an assistant gets a promotion. Ex. Position coach or coordinator to HC, or position coach to coordinator. It all depends on the language of the contract.

I think he would owe them if he quit before the season was over. This is the 3rd year in a row Saban has had an assistant in this situation.
