Iran criticizes Obama, calls on U.S. to scrap nuclear arms | International | Reuters

isn't it funny how every time hussein critizes a country like iran or north korea, he ends up apologizing for America or talking about how bad America is. now he says that America is going to take the lead to get rid of nukes. do you dems really think russia or iran will get rid of nukes? or north korea? he's so ignorant.

it's a mazing.

I think that the stockpile can be significantly reduced as it is. So, I don't mind talk of significant reductions - although I would like to at least agree on a framework where Russia disarms similarly. Regardless of what Obama is saying, we will have a reasonably sized stockpile even when he is done...plenty to match Russia. The size of our stockpile is (at least into the near future) irrelevant to the issues in Iran and North Korea. The size of the arsenal is really only effective in a MAD sense...which is not where we stand with these countries....

...I just don't see any (Coldwar power) nation getting rid of all of its nukes anytime soon...we'll see I guess....

i'm not as worried about Russia sellling nukes, it's all the smaller countries selling bits and pieces to iran, north korea or some terrorist organization. it just takes one nuke and they don't have to be very accurate.

the fact is this. hussein is finishing up the apology tour, (i guess all dem presidents have to apologize for America being wealthy) and he's shown how complacent he will be in defending America and our allies.

Defense Secretary William Gates is expected to announce sweeping changes to the Pentagon budget and may ax major weapons programs, which could cause job losses here.

No, he's apologizing for the pathetic excuse of an administration we've had the last 8 years and all their blunders.

Do you think of Al Gore and John Kerry to be potentially more or less pathetic than the last administration??

I struggle with this constantly. I think Gore would have been equal to W but Kerry would have been a disaster.

Although, I would probably take Kerry over Obama.

he's apologizing by lying through his teeth.

Power Line - The Apology Tour: Will It Ever End?

you may burst into flames while reading a conservative blog, but give it a try.
Seriously?

This is untrue. A minority of states did "make it hard" for someone who "looks like Obama" to vote until "not long ago," but most did not, and the federal government certainly did not. There has never been a time when it was hard for people who look like Obama to vote here in Minnesota, for example.

wow, that's all you can come up with?

snark and sarcasm are no substitute for an actual, cogent argument.

oh you wish, no he's apologizing for America being a prosperous nation and the fact that we aren't complete socialist (YET) as his lovely europeans. not once has that idiot talked about the greatness America. he doesn't think America is great, he think America is a greedy evil nation.

owb your boy has hated this country since his brain was filled crap from the 60's and i'm sure sheep like you will continue to support this moron.

Nah, that's not all I can come up with. It's just all I'm willing to invest in such absurdities, that's all.

All I can do is roll my eyes at every post you make in here. You're so filled with hate, you can't see straight.

No he isn't. He is making it very clear to his kinsmen in thought that pacifism is his rule. The talk of dismantling our nukes is senseless gibberish that has nothing to do with the last administration. That talk is completely about pandering and belief that other nations are genuinely interested in our point of view. They aren't.

And who's fault is that?

It's no one's fault. Do you think it's someone's fault that we don't give a rip what the French, Chinese, Japanese......etc have to say in running our own affairs and dealing with our own sovereignty?

Whatever can be said about Bush, at least he put the interests of America first. Obama, on the other hand, wasted a week grovelling to the Europeans, slandering America at every turn. All I can say is that he's giving the Rs plenty of soundbytes to use in 2012 presidential campaign ads.

BRAVO!

:hi:

One of the few things I remember from my Poli Sci degree... other than all politicians are liars and there are few if any I trust.

WW set the tone for foreign policy over the 20th Century and our leaders since have really deviated little from it. so all you people blaming Bush need to look further into the past.
