Predicting black stripes in fall camp

1) Kahlil McKenzie
2) Kamara
3) Krikland Jr.
4) Dormady
5) Abernathy

I love Tuttle but I think it may take a little more to click for him in the actual defense. He is immensely talented but for it to click within a scheme will delay him.

You do know that Tuttle had one of the best springs of any freshman this year right?

The equipment managers might be scared to even put the black stripe on Kahlil's helmet in the first place.

How'd you like to be the guy who has to explain to him why he has to have one?

Yes but let me remind you we had many guys out. I like Tuttle as much as the next person but I don't know if he will get his stripe off as soon are expecting. I'm glad he was an EE so he could gain some better weight than what he had coming in. He will be an impact but idk if he can fully understand some of the concepts the coaches are looking for. Just remember bro it's an opinion. Don't get too upset about it, alright?

Derek Barnett type impact Freshman are few and far between. Hope you are right but...

I'm not a big stats guy so I'm not saying he's gonna break records. All I meant was he'll be an immediate impact player that opposing teams will have to worry about. Maybe a better comparison would be Cam Sutton. He came in as an unheralded 3 star recruit. Started from day 1 as a true freshmen. And has pretty much been a playmaker and elite CB ever since.

I think Austin Smith comes right in as the primary backup to Curt Maggit at the Leo position. He makes an immediate impact on 3rd downs rushing the passer and on special teams.

Stole my thunder, there are always surprises. Some 3 star will show out.

Always. It'll probably be the Buford boy. Austin Smith.

My top 5 goes like this for stripes to be taken off goes as such.

1. Khalil
2. Dormady
3. Kamara
4. Kirkland
5. Sheiron Jones

Tuttle and Austin Smith are future all conference players/talents. And will probably get their stripes taken off early as well.

But those 5 i mentioned are guys that will spearhead our championship teams.
