Latrell Williams looks very good, incredibly fast. May be the most impressive wide-out at this point in spring practice. Things are really starting to come together for him, as far as the playbook, speed of the game, and health.

Trey Smith is a monster. Looks like someone sawed off his arms and replaced them with old-growth tree trunks. Beat Kongbo a few times.

The O-line in general is impressive so far.

Sheriron Jones is noticeably bigger and is not intimidated by the other QBs in the competition.

Will McBride doesn't seem to be in over his head and doesn't look out of place among the other, more veteran QBs. He will almost certainly redshirt.

Dormady and JG are both making some good plays. No matter who wins the job, we will have a very good QB. Guarantano had a big play with his legs too.

Kirkland continues to lead.

On a recruiting side note, we may be getting a nice commitment pretty soon.

TKJ is a pretty sure tackler, but lacks the closing speed of Warrior......Warrior needs to have a big year if the Vols are going to really compete with the best the SEC has to offer:good!:

You mean there's not enough independent motivation out there at practice every day to do your best, be your best, and try and win a starting job at your position? You need the glory of having a piece of tape removed from your helmet to feel fulfilled? I'm old school I guess, but if you need superficial motivation to go out and hammer every day, maybe you don't need to be on the field in the first place? JMO

funny considering the players take it serious. Nigel Warrior even asked to have it back when his was first removed. . hardly sounds like it had run its course.
