This, if I were going with the military interventionalist route, is what I would do. Military action won't work without boots on the ground. Boots on the ground won't work unless take the kid gloves off. ISIS does have a semi-conventional ground force that can be wiped out. Rooting out the chicken-**** bastards that want to hide would take creating occupation zones, and it would take time. The only way I would want to consider boots on the ground though, is that RUssia, France, and the rest of the EU be on the same page, and also contribute.
Agree. Like I said before, military is itching to go, just need the green light. I believe that the current strategy is to knock out the main/big/money maker targets and let the roaches scatter. Hoping the Iraqi/Syrian/Turks etc will then be the lead to track down the remaining scattered roaches with our assistance. It is their country after all. I don't know if it will work...but I believe that is the general plan.
