Polls week of 1-5

I know it seems like we're piling on the bball team right now, and that's not my intention here. I bleed orange today as much as any day.

But what are the AP voters smoking to think that we beat a hapless Louisiana team and then get dunked all over by Kansas and only move down one slot in the poll?

Given how this team has performed since beating GTown, every ranked team behind them (save perhaps Baylor) deserves to be ranked ahead of us.

the ESPN/USA Today poll has it about right, though.

I agree. We need to earn our ranking. We'll get the chance over the next few games.

Sometimes voters don't even watch the game. Many probably just saw that UT lost to the defending champs at their place by 7.

Coaches poll has us more properly ranked than the AP. That is rare. 25th makes more sense for us.
