"Peyton"

I became a Broncos fan the day Peyton signed the contract. Elway opened the checkbook and added to Peyton's arsenal of weapons, smart move.

I'm biased cause I bleed orange, but I think he's the best quarterback to ever lay hands on a football, that documentary was nothing short of awesome. GBO

Agree! I'm 29 years old and have been watching Peyton from his first snap in college. For me I was 10 years old when he was a freshman. That was really when I started to develop and take in more of the game. I remember some of Heath and vaguely Andy but Peyton I remember it all from day one! Its been a blessing to follow and watch one player for two decades. IMO I think he is the ultimate professional athlete. He studies the game like no other, respects the game, respects the former players who paved the way before him, true leader, winner, class act on and off the field, says all the right things, etc.

I don't miss a game of his nor have I ever. Its like an art how he dissects defenses. The Manning's are first class. Archie & Olivia have done an outstanding job raising their boys. Peyton Manning is my favorite player cause of everything I stated and the first player I really remember the most out of all the others before him in my time. Glad he's a VFL! Go Vols!!!
I was born in 85 and have the same memories and feelings as this.

I don't care what anyone says...Peyton Manning was/is simply the best! The best ever in my book. I have always been so impressed with the way he carries himself on and off the field. His physical skills are unquestionable and his leadership ability is remarkable. His dedication to the best sport on earth (in my opinion) is unbelievable. This man has represented himself and this university with such class. I know that may people feel the same way. Having watched "The Book of Manning" last night, I just felt the need to show my appreciation to one of the greatest ever. And before someone tries to be cute with the "but when he was at UT he mooned another player in the locker room with a female present!!! Get over it. (I'm sure she did)

That's why he bought the locker room, so he can do what he wants

Hes a class act and a great role model. I wish he was going to play long enough for my son to watch him. Guess I will have to tell stories about #16.

He will break Marino's passing yardage record at some point this season. Marino has over 61,361 yards. Manning has 60,635.

Next, he will go after Favre's passing yardage record or 71,848 and Favre's t.d. total of 508. Manning has 445 career t.d.'s.

He should catch both of those record in the 2015 season.

If Manning can do those things, as well as take the Bronco's to a super bowls and win and also break the single season touchdown record, then I think he is undoubtedly the greatest QB of all time.

Simply put he is the G.O.A.T. Peyton gave his all and then some for UT. Does everybody remember when he played against Nebraska with a MELON for a knee? He was a guy who gave his heart and dedication 110% to UT. GO VOLS!

QB coach? More like O-coordinator. He has essentialy been a coordinator his whole pro career calling his own plays.

The man knows football better than football does.

He is the Bronco's OC. There r no coaches present for team offense meetings. Peyton runs the meetings, breaks down film, and implements game plan.

you brought it up

Naughright's attorney says his client, doing her job, was crouching behind Manning to determine why he was having pain in one of his feet when "entirely unprovoked, Peyton Manning decided to pull down his shorts and sit on Dr. Naughright's head and face." Court documents add graphic body-part details, which we shall omit because you certainly can get the picture.

USATODAY.com - Do you really know your sports hero?

there is a term for this in the porn world, something to do with Liptons

Tee is the man,he knew how to win :) with class

I don't care if the tip of her nose was tickling his prostate, it's still damned funny

I saw Eric Decker talking about that the other night. I've never heard of such a thing. Unbelievable.

Kinda like A Rod; the best until the playoffs start.

A Rod is a dam PED doper. Don't compare Manning to that cheater. BTW, the guy has been to two super bowls and has a ring. You came, you tried, you failed, STFU, and goodnight.:rock::rock:

My man crush on Peyton is huge. I've just never seen the guy misstep....ever. After watching last night I see now it is partly because of Archie but he takes it to another level. The playoff criticism is somewhat justified, however, I would argue Peyton overachieved most of those teams when they probably had no business deep in January. He never had a dominate D or running game. And his receivers, although very talented, had no physical size which shows up when the refs shallow their whistles in the playoffs. Now it's a different story, he has big and fast weapons, a decent running game and a formidable defense. Unstoppable if injury free IMO. So proud to call him a Vol.

Never has been and never will be another player that has had the impact on UT Football like Peyton Manning. Most people don't even realize what all he has given back to UT and the Knoxville community because he doesn't do it for the publicity. Gee, wouldn't it be nice if we had more Peyton Mannings and less Arian Fosters?
